 Recruit and enroll new students into the various programs at the Martin School.  Plan and create class schedules for four graduate degree programs and two certificate programs.  Collaborate with the Director of Graduate studies and the Director of Online Studies to manage and organize student data.  Communicate with current and prospective students to ensure they feel comfortable with the requirements of their program.  Manage and organize logistics for 11 faculty members and approximately 100 students to create a productive work environment.  Create an online marketing program to increase enrolment in Martin School programs.  Plan and execute student events such as graduation, open house, and prospective student visits.  Provide a welcoming atmosphere and information to visitors.  Presented with an Unsung Hero Award from the University of Kentucky’s College of Social Work for outstanding work within the community.  Increased daily attendance from an average of 10 students to an average of 30 students.  Trained and managed over 100 volunteers and 2 AmeriCorps VISTA members to mentor participants each year.  Created an annual fundraising schedule and plan increasing the financial stability of E7 Kids Café allowing for the addition of an Assistant Director position within the organization.

 Launched Preschool in the Park, a free, drop-in summer preschool program.  Implemented and maintained a tutoring program in partnership with the 21st Century Grant Program at William Wells Brown Elementary with a focus on improving literacy and math skills.

 Oversaw the music department for the 9th grade student body, assisted with vocal music in the rest of the high school, and created the music program for the graduation ceremonies.  Mentored students as a senior project advisor, facilitating student higher education and transitional plans.  Developed lesson plans to interest students in the arts and collaborated with teachers in other disciplines to create co-curricular lessons with limited supplies and budget.  Updated and organized student records for the summer school session, allowing the principal to easily find relevant documents.
