High School Player:

Congratulations on being selected by the South Carolina High School Soccer Coaches Association (SCHSSCA) to represent the Palmetto State at the 2019 Clash of the Carolinas all-star match that will be held Saturday, June 29th in Raleigh, . The Clash is the nation's only interstate prep all-star soccer game.

Founded in 2007, the match annually features the top boys and girls graduated seniors from North Carolina and South Carolina. The 2007-2015 matches were played at MUSC Health (Blackbaud) Stadium, home of the of the USL, on Daniel Island, S.C. The 2016 edition of the Clash of the Carolinas was played at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, N.C. The past two year's events were held at the WakeMed Soccer Park's Koka Booth Stadium, home of North Carolina FC (USL Championship) and the North (NWSL), the site of this year's event.

Players will report on Friday, June 28th (Boys 11 am / Girls 12 pm) and the matches will be played on Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Park's Koka Booth Stadium. Please bookmark both of these links and refer to them often for information and updates. There are NO exceptions to attendance at the event. You have to commit to the entire two-days at the times provided – no late arrivals or early departures are allowed.

There is no required fee to play in this event for the player!

Players selected to participate should fill out the following player profile by May 28th - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZWMSVLX. You will be able to edit/add to your profile later as the season ends up and additional information becomes available to you.

Players will be required to submit to their respective all-star team head coach a copy of their 2018-2019 SCHSL Physical (on file at your school in your athletic department) in order to participate in the event. You may email your all-star team coach your copy. This should be done by May 1st.

You will receive an additional email later, in regard to ordering your uniform via MyUniform and Lloyd’s Soccer. You DO NOT have to purchase your kit, but you must order the correct size. You have the option to purchase your uniform as a souvenir keepsake. Uniforms must be ordered by May 10th.

When you report to the Clash on June 28th, you are asked to wear your respective high schools’ soccer training shirt as well as having soccer socks, shinguards, and shoes available for afternoon training.

We will produce a quality Clash souvenir program for purchase. We ask that each school that has a player(s) selected purchase at least one ad in the program ($125). Information on the ads is available at the website (and via attachment to this notification email). Program ads must be submitted by May 28th.
