You could find out:  which countries are members of the Asia Pacific Region  how Asia Pacific Region is structured and its goals / aims / strategic plans  how the goals are being achieved and how Australia is contributing  the significant contributions made to Girl Guiding / Girl by women from the Asia Pacific Region  some items of historical interest  how to nominate someone for an Asia Pacific Award

Choose a country that is a member of the Asia Pacific Region. Find resources, games and activities and use them in the program. Which country do the Guides want to ‘visit’?

In your community, who could enhance the Guiding program?  A local cultural group  A Guide/Leader who has travelled in the Asia Pacific Region or been to Sangam

Encourage Guides to participate in Post Box, the Thinking Day Postcard Exchange or on the Air/ (JOTA/JOTI).
