Bellamy Brothers headed to Westerner Park March 7, 2019| Red Deer, AB— On May 8, 2019 the Bellamy Brothers will be the first concert hosted in the MEDIA new Exhibition Hall at Westerner Park. For more than 40 years, the Bellamy Brothers have been an unassuming picture of consistency in Country RELEASE music, crafting honest, heartfelt songs that connect with millions of listeners around the world. Even more remarkable is the fact that they've remained relevant in a genre that has become increasingly enamored with style over substance, glitz over grit, and fleeting celebrity over artistic vision. Yet Howard and David Bellamy have weathered the trends admirably, enjoying enormous success throughout their career with numerous No. 1 hits on both the Pop and Country charts. The Brothers continued to produce No.1 hit after No. 1 hit in the years that followed, totaling more than a dozen chart-topping singles in the U.S. and Europe. "If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me)," "Sugar Daddy," "Dancin' Cowboys," "Do You Love As Good As You Look," "Redneck Girl," "When I'm Away From You," "I Need More Of You," "Old Hippie," "Kids of the Baby Boom," "Too Much Is Not Enough," "Crazy From the Heart," "Santa Fe" and "I Could Be Persuaded" are just some of the Bellamys' Top Ten hits that populated the Pop/Rock and Country charts from the '70s into the '90s. The Bellamy Brothers are set to perform on May 8, 2019 in the Exhibition Hall at Westerner Park.

  • Sunday, May 16, 2021 – American Music Theatre with Gene Watson & the Bellamy Brothers
SUNDAY, MAY 16, 2021 – AMERICAN MUSIC THEATRE WITH GENE WATSON & THE BELLAMY BROTHERS 10:30 AM - leave Kohl's, Westminster (Rt. 140 & Market Street) 12:15-2:00 - Family-style lunch at Hershey Farms Restaurant 3:00-5:00 - American Music Theatre with Gene Watson and The Bellamy Brothers – One of the most masterful voices in country music today, Gene Watson still sings in the same key as 30 years ago and continues to prove why he is rightly referred to as “The Singer’s Singer.” He’s built a reputation for soulful ballads in the classic country tradition. Some of his many hits include “Love in the Hot Afternoon,” “Where Love Begins,” “Should I Come Home (Or Should I Go Crazy),” and “Nothing Sure Looked Good on You.” The Bellamy Brothers are currently celebrating 40 years in the music business. For Howard and David Bellamy, the road that started on the pop music charts in the 70’s took a winding turn into country music in the 80’s. Their patented blend of rock/country music has produced 14 #1 singles and included such notable classics as “Let Your Love Flow,” “Redneck Girl,” “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me),” “Sugar Daddy,” and “Lovers Live Longer.” American Music Theatre is a 1,600-seat theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania that hosts more than 300 live concerts and performances each year: from Broadway shows to rock concerts and comedy club performers to today's hottest country music concerts including Grammy winners, CMA winners, Tony winners, and even Oscar winners to their stage.

June 10, 2013, Issue 349 Blair Garner: Big Cast, Big Stage New WNSH/New York morning host Blair Garner (Breaking News 6/10) is thinking big about his new role as the Country morning host in the nation’s largest market. A cast that features Terri Clark, Sunny Sweeney, Chuck Wicks, Lee Ann Womack and Robin Meade; the studio audience; and the show’s Nashville location point to an out-of-the-box approach. Not to mention the fact that as the ongoing host of After MidNite, he’ll be leading two high-profile radio shows simultaneously. Country Aircheck spoke with Blair Garner Garner about America’s Morning Show. CA: When and how did this ball get rolling? The Pong Song: Two-thirds of Lady Antebellum and a WSIX/ BG: In my deals, I’ve always built in the right to do a local Nashville team are all smiles until the balls start flying at Lady morning show if it made sense. When my attorney Eric Weiss Kelley, WSIX listener Casey Thomas and Lady A’s Dave Haywood. told me that he and [Cumulus EVP/c-COO] John Dickey had Allen and Kelley beat the Haywood/Thomas pairing. spoken about this opportunity, I was pretty taken aback. From my vantage point, to get to be the morning host of the first CMAMF: LP Short Plays Country radio station in New York City in nearly two decades Sunday (6/9): CMA Music Festival sent the LP Field crowd to bed – I mean, that is amazing.
