Taegan Regal, Gr 11 learner at Eunice High School (on the right), was placed in the top 50 in the FS after the Science Olympiad. As a result, she was given the opportunity to attend a Science Convention with her Science teacher, Mrs Kerryn Lombard (left). This took place at the North West University, Potchefstroom on the 15th and 16th of August. Taegan said that the well-organised Science Convention was an inspiring and enlightening experience. She enjoyed all the presentations but especially the Chemistry demonstration and the tour around the Pharmacy faculty. She will share her experiences with her peers and use the opportunity that was given to her to encourage others.
