List of Male Candidates in Order of Merit Who Have Qualified Tests LIST OF MALE CANDIDATES IN ORDER OF MERIT WHO HAVE QUALIFIED TESTS (PHYSICAL + WRITTEN + PSYCHOMETRIC + INTERVIEW) FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE IN SSU AGAINST 1100 VACANCIES 1. There are 1100 posts of male Constable as advertised out of which 5 % has been reserved for minority (i.e. 55 posts). 2. Qualifying marks for Interview are 50% and above out of 50 marks. 3. The candidates who did not qualify psychometric test have been disqualified for Interview. 4. Following is the list of Male Candidates who have qualified Physical, Written, Psychometric & Interview Tests for the Recruitment of Police Constable in SSU against 1045 General Vacancies + 55 posts reserved for minority (Total 1100). 5. The final result is the sum of total of the marks obtained in the written test and Interview as well as additional 15 marks given to the Interview Qualified candidates who are sons/daughters of retired / serving employees of Sindh Police having 25 years qualifying service as per Recruitment Policy. 6. The Candidates have been placed on merit list by giving priority as under : a. The candidates who got higher marks in total have been placed on top. b. If total marks are equal, the marks obtained in interview have been considered to place a candidate over to others who secured similar marks. c. If marks of interview are equal, the marks obtained in written test have been considered. d. If marks of written and interview are equal, the senior in age has been placed over. 7. Against 55 Reserved Vacancies of minority, 12 candidates have qualified. 8. The candidate on merit list upto 1045 + 12 of minority quota will be given medical letters for medical fitness against existing vacancy i.e. 1100 as was published in the advertisement of newspapers. They will be given offer letter of appointment after satisfactory completion of following codal formalities: a. Medical Fitness Examination (Including screening of Hepatitis B, C & HIV etc). b. Verification of CNIC, Educational Certificates, Domicile / PRC. c. Verification of Character Antecedents. 9. Any selected candidates (out of 1045 + 12) found un-successful for any of the above reasons/report, will stand disqualified and the next one from the merit list will be considered for appointment, after completion of above mentioned codal formalities. 10. Candidates whose names are not mentioned in the list have failed. The Musalman Races; Copyright © www.panhwar.com 2 PREFACE. In 1889, while I was Deputy Collector in the Frontier District of Upper Sindh, I was desired by B. Giles, Esquire, then Deputy Commissioner of that district, to prepare a Note on the Baloch and Birahoi tribes, showing their tribal connections and the feuds existing between their various branches, and other details. Accordingly, I prepared a Note on these two tribes and submitted it to him in May 1890. The Note was revised by me at the direction of C. E. S. Steele, Esquire, when he became Deputy Commissioner of the above district, and a copy of it was furnished to him. It was revised a third time in August 1895, and a copy was submitted to H. C. Mules, Esquire, after he took charge of the district, and at my request the revised Note was printed at the Commissioner-in-Sindh’s Press in 1896, and copies of it were supplied to all the District and Divisional officers.

A summary table of the totals for each tehsil showinz its area to the nearest square mile, and its population and the number of houses to the nearest hundred is given on page I together with the page number on which each tehsil begins. The general village table, which has been compiled district-wise and arranged tehsil-wise, appears on page 3 et seq.
