TAMAYUZ started his career by winning on his first two outings at Longchamp and Chantilly respectively in 2007. He began his 2008 campaign by winning the G3 Prix de Fontainebleau also at Longchamp in April. He will now be aimed at the INSIDE THIS G1 Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville in August. ISSUE: TAMAYUZ is Nayef’s first G1 winner, which is very fitting, considering Nayef himself was also bred and stands at Shadwell. Tamayuz hails from a family steeped in Champions. Nayef showed great consistency and Apprentice Series 2 soundness throughout his career when winning the G1 Champion Stakes, G1 Juddmonte International, G1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes and Great Day’s Racing 2 G1 Dubai Sheema Classic. He is out of the brilliant Height of Fashion, herself the dam of champions NASHWAN and UNFUWAIN (sire of eight G1 winners including Derrinstown’s ALHAARTH).
