Not the computers (a given), but the buildings physically falling in. Scientists have conjectured that much as the ancients thought cold was an active force rather than merely the absence of heat, stupidity may be a real thing. The extraordinary amounts of stupid have acted like a black hole, increasing local gravity to the point where nothing can resist. Windows 7: stupid, and Microsoft: evil. ABC leaks like sieve by staff writers Leak responses go from turgid to tepid. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s plans for upcoming first run Chameleon Factor # 80 Doctor Who specials and Torchwood: Children of Earth have leaked up to O Ou three months ahead of time. ut So oo n! No one from the national broadcaster was willing to go on the record about ! this leak, however they have repeated that their policy is they will only con- firm broadcast dates up to four weeks ahead of time. They will go further unofficially and with the guarantee of press embargo, neither of which occurred this time. An update appeared on a television gossip site on 3 November, outlining broadcast plans through January. Until recently ABC took this sort of leak very seriously and threatened disciplinary action up to dismissal for staff. ABC’s responce has lessened to the point of indifference in this instance. This is signifi- c . cantly less than a month and is comparable to the turnaround on Planet of the M Dead. The final two Tennant specials will however take the usual full month to e t r reach Australian audiences, and can be expected in late January. Torchwood: o T Children of Earth will play weekly on ABC2 from the first week in January. The V rights to series four of Doctor Who expire in 2010, and ABC2 will repeat the episodes. Despite the TEN network being a production partner in K-9, they still have no public schedule for the programme. UK viewers of cable channel Disney XD received a Halloween treat in the form of the first episode, Regeneration.
