IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT GAINING WORLDWIDE ATTENTION This is a Request for Media Coverage BREAKING NEWS! Attention Media Sources:

The purpose of this letter is to inform all forms of media of an injustice that has been gaining worldwide attention. Seven and a half years ago, a 19 year old man was convicted of rape based on the sole accusation that he sounded like the girl’s rapist. After refusing to agree to an attempt of being extorted, he was convicted by one judge, with no jury, a partially absent defense attorney and no defense was ever presented because not one witness was called nor even interviewed on his behalf by the police nor his attorney. He has spent so long in jail because he was told the only evidence that could have cleared him of the crime is if the girl would have had a rape kit performed. begged them to do a DNA test to clear his name but they said that there was nothing to compare it to. However, this year, with the assistance of a Harvard Law Attorney, Jamaican Barristers and an advocate, new evidence has now surfaced that can clear his name and the assistance of your office is needed in order to do so.

His name is Siccaturie Alcock, yet the world knows him as artist “Jah Cure” who has been writing, producing and recording his music and two from prison and has even released videos. He has won, “Best Male Vocalist” at two major award ceremonies and also “Reggae of the Year.” He has even formed and has been running his well structured company from prison. This is an incredible story and the rest of the world needs to be made aware of this terrible injustice that surrounds his case.

Christina Grand who is currently working as Jah Cure’s Executive Director, has been doing radio and tv interviews in an effort to release Siccaturie Alcock of all accusations against him by presenting his defense that was never formally introduced at his trial. You are receiving this letter by way of one of the Jah Cure Fan Club Support Team Members who is assisting in this amazing worldwide mission. These support teams were formed so that the fans can be a part of this great history making movement to get the word out and provide awareness to the reggae and mainstream communities of what actually happened in his case. In the island of , an up and coming reggae artist who was only a 19 year old young man called Siccaturie Alcock was given a 15 year sentence for Rape and Robbery charges by a Jamaican court in 1999 that did not even give him the benefit of a Jury trial nor did he have a competent lawyer to present his defence to the court. His attorney nor the police neither contacted nor called any of the 11+ alibi witnesses whose statements he and the police neglected to take. The only evidence the court had, was that the victim said, “It sounds like him”. Seven (7) years have past and this now young man still awaits JUSTICE. He languishes in prison for a crime he did NOT commit but yet it is his faith and confidence of his innocence that keeps him strong.

This young man is known to the reggae world as Jah Cure, a Conscious and Spiritual Reggae artist whose voice has touched millions around the world. It is our request to you, the fans and the public at large to bring this injustice to light and to the attention of those in the press, media, government and others who can help to bring pressure on the political establishment in Jamaica, the Governor of the prison system, the parole board of Jamaica and others who can help FREE JAH CURE!!!!!!!!”

Here are points of this case that we want the world to know.

. There was NO Jury Trial . His lawyer failed to appear at court on the day he was to give evidence leaving him to represent himself. . His lawyer did not present any defense whatsoever. . His lawyer did not question the key witness in the case who was the police officer who took the girls to the hospital and was handed the DNA evidence that would have cleared Jah Cure. . The Judge, wrongfully carried on with the case without his lawyer and left a 19 year old unrepresented. . No ID Parade (Line up) was ever held. . Vital DNA from the victim was never disclosed to the defendant not even by his defense counsel and was then lost or purposely hidden by the police until a Harvard Law Professor found that it did exist. . His lawyer was friends with the victim’s family. . His lawyer nor police failed to take statements from any alibi witnesses. . The lead detective of the case was the girl's mother's love interest.

The only appeal he was allowed, the appeal to the High Court, did not deal with any of these points.

These are just some points that we want the world to know. Seven years have been taken from his life that can never be returned. He sang the song “TRUE REFLECTIONS”, a song for the prison’s rehabilitation program, which he DID NOT write and people assume it was a confession song. He is being convicted twice. Once by an unjust court system and the second time by people who do not have the facts of the entire case. This is a case of pure corruption and that is why this story needs to be told. Many men and women are in prisons for crimes they did not commit, pray that this does not happen to one of your family members. We are asking for all media sources to tell this story to assist us with our mission of revealing the truth. His case is even being studied at Harvard Law University. Advocacy groups, attorneys, and barristers have pulled together to research this case which they have discovered the truth which is that this man are innocent. New DNA evidence has been discovered that was hidden by the prosecution 7 and a half years ago. A letter from the Crown counsel of Jamaica, said “It is useless for the prisoner to submit a sample at this time”. This is not understood by the legal team nor the fans around the world who love him. The world wants to know why this DNA evidence cannot be released nor tested by an independent lab outside Jamaica. What is the prosecution trying to hide?

His name became even more tarnished when the victim, who was disturbed by his fame, released an article full of fabricated events that can be proven to be false based on her witness statements and trial transcript. Yet, her story turned many against him and even more so after the prison had him sing the True Reflections song for the prison’s rehabilitation program which sounds like a confession, but it was not his song. He was simply following orders which the song has caused a great deal of controversy.

He has over come many obstacles that have delayed his career and is in fact the only man in the world to record songs, produce music, film two videos and release 2 albums while in prison. One song (“Jamaica”) reached number 1 in the UK, another song (Longing For) reaching number 1 in 2004 in the reggae scene in many countries worldwide. And the 3rd (True Reflections) song reaching number 1 in 2005, which he recorded in the rehabilitation through music program while in prison and is considered by many as a “Reggae Anthem.” He had taught himself how to play the guitar, learn how to produce music rhythm s, formed a multi level fully functioning corporation consisting of many departments, sponsored programs and events for kids and now has the world’s most unique fan club consisting of individuals around the world who have joined together for his benefit and are working closely with his corporation to tell the world about the unjust Jamaican Court System that prosecuted this man falsely and hid vital evidence that has just surfaced that could have cleared his name 7 and a half years ago.

Mama Cure sends a message:

“For seven years now I am in pain. Watching his siblings grow up without a brother when they should be growing up together. As a mother I believe my son did not get justice from the land of Jamaica that I love so well. I could not believe that Jamaica has treated me so, but please understand what I/we have gone through.

His pain is my pain and so I try to support him the best way I know how; Regular visits, home cooked meals, clean clothes, positive words of inspiration, a lot of prayer and love.

All these things break my heart. As a mother, I am always crying inside. I always think that everyone should be treated fairly and justly. Now I feel concerned for my other children because I lost faith in the system and I fear that they as well as others can falsely be accused and persecuted just by someone who wants to point a finger and not have any facts or evidence.

This is a horrible experience and the sad thing is that this could have happened to your family member, father, brother, son, uncle, or cousin.

My dream is to see him free so I can touch him and hold him and cry. I will be so happy for that day, the tears will come and the pain that has been built up inside me will then release as the tears fall for all of these years that they have unjustly held my son.

My strength comes from the Almighty. Through prayer, He is always giving me such strength to go on and be strong for him and the other kids. Without Him by my side, I would have never made it. When I am down, He lifts me up. And when I am sad, He brings me joy.

And the best thing of all, through all our problems, we still try to be one big happy family.
