Rex (A to Z Mysteries, #20) by Ron Roy When their money is stolen, it's up to Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose to help solve the case. May 06, Simon rated it really liked it. Read these books when I was a kid and greatly enjoyed them, figured I'd give them a second read for kicks. I certainly recommend any young mysteries fan devote time to this series, it's certainly a grand adventure for a young mind, the imagery of Ron Roy's words and his settings and unique character descriptions and personalities really help kids imagine a whole movie in their heads as they read each exciting page. Nov 22, Katie Merkel rated it really liked it. One thing I love about this series are the strong friendships and positive child-adult relationships. We figured it out pretty quickly. There were a lot of suspects. OK I admit it, there were a couple. Aug 13, Anthony rated it liked it Shelves: crime- fiction , adventure , juvenile , mystery. When Jud Wheat brings his talking T. Rex to Green Lawn to earn money to build a museum, the duffel bag where he kept the money earned is stolen, it's up to Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose to help their friend locate the missing money, and catch the thief who stole it. Aug 17, L. Fidler rated it liked it Shelves: a-boy-and-his-dog , bad-mothers , fiona-and-mommy-book-club , doughnut-fiction , girl- detective , mindrot , a-lioness-in-winter , adorbz , bedtime-for-bonzo , informative. He needed to work on the pacing. Liam: it was okay. It was more boringer than some of the others tho. Regan: I liked it until the end where everything just happened Dec 25, Tara rated it liked it Shelves: books. I love the idea of a talking t-rex. Fun, quick mystery. Sep 25, Mary Thomas rated it really liked it Shelves: series-a-to-z-mysteries , 8-audio- books , school-year. Pretty good. Listened while we drove around town and then ate our snack at home. Nov 16, Samantha Rothstein rated it really liked it. There were three kids dink, josh and Ruth Rose were on the search for the Montana money that someone stole from jud. Some think that it was jud, dean or scoop who stole the Montana money. So,they went find him but josh saw footprints in their neighbors shed. So,an officer check it out and it was scoop's footprints. It was scoop who stole the money all along and was caught red-headed. Title: The Talking T. Review: It's been too many years, and I still remember this cover. Rex written by Ron Roy is a chapter book containing 10 chapters about 8 pages each chaper. It is 85 pages in total. A friend Jud comes back to town with a surprise a T-Rex and the adventures start. The friends are lead on a who done it mystery. This book is for 2nd-5th grade, I think 6th grade would find it babyish. Since it involves a T-Rex I think more boys will be interested in it than girls. Mar 15, Carrie rated it liked it Recommended to Carrie by: Lotte. These are good easy reader books for maybe 2nd or 3rd grade readers. I think they can be enjoyable for older th graders too, but the reading level is younger. The characters are cute and the mysteries aren't very scary. It is always good to read about kids in good friendships who are using their brains. Aug 04, Marlee rated it really liked it. So far, we've read the entire series in order. I read them to my 6 and 10 year old. They have enjoyed all of them. This book didn't seem to hold their attention as much as some. However they did still enjoy it. It was easy to solve. I think my kids had this one figured out almost right away. A fun series to share with children. Jul 04, Ann Moody rated it liked it. This series is just average. We have read this one and another White House White Out and in both cases the kids get into unrealistic situations with dangerous grown ups at all hours of the day and night. If that doesn't bother you and your kid likes the stories, they are okay. Mar 26, Ali rated it it was amazing. Jud sets up a fake Tyrannosaurus named Tyrone. He does shows with him to make money. But, one day when Jud goes to check on his money, it's gone! I really like this book. It is super cool. You have got to read it. The T Rex didn't really talk, so I don't know why they called it this. Jun 01, Ashley rated it it was amazing. Jun 08, JD rated it liked it Shelves: 2nd-grade , mystery , picture-books. My 2nd grader enoyed this book well enough, after a slow start. Jan 25, J rated it it was ok. A part of a young readers early mystery. Jun 14, Siddharth rated it it was amazing. A dinosaur is talking! It's A to Z Mysteries series. Aug 15, Crystal rated it liked it Shelves: kids. Cute story. The characters are a bit stuffy but I liked it. May 07, Sara rated it it was amazing. They find the money in a shed and the culprit gets caught. Nov 15, Sydney rated it it was amazing. When Dink's old teenager friend Judd comes back with a talking t. Rex for the parade that green lawn' having when the green lawn parade is over some one stole Judd's money! Dec 10, Lisadunbar22 rated it it was amazing Shelves: evan. I liked the part when the T-Rex talked.

Toys have grown in sophistication and technological advancement, but so have their dangers. In 1970, the most popular toy on the market was the then brand new Nerf Ball. Forty years later, the Nerf is still popular but has morphed into a “Blaster” – armed with a fl ip-up sight, red dot light beam, and shoulder stock with an extra ammo clip – and had to be recalled after the gun’s mechanism injured more than 45 children.1 While most parents have always had the common sense to watch for small objects that might choke a child or sharp pieces that might cause harm, today’s toys feature unseen hazards. Now, the danger comes from lead, cadmium, asbestos, and other carcinogens undetectable to the eye, or small, innocent-looking magnets that can rip a child apart from the inside. Since 1974, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued more than 850 recalls for toy products. In 2007, 45 million toys had to be recalled.2 Between 2004 and 2008, toy-related injuries increased 12 percent, and over the last 10 years, toy-related injuries have increased 54 percent.3 This increase in the number of injuries to children every year has coincided with a marked increase in imported toys.

Completed acquisition by Hasbro, Inc. of Entertainment One Limited Decision on relevant merger situation and substantial lessening of competition ME/6850/19 Please note that [] indicates figures or text which have been deleted or replaced in ranges for reasons of commercial confidentiality. SUMMARY 1. On 30 December 2019, Hasbro, Inc (Hasbro) acquired Entertainment One Limited (eOne) (the Merger). Hasbro and eOne are together referred to as the Parties. 2. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) believes that it is or may be the case that each of Hasbro and eOne is an enterprise; that these enterprises have ceased to be distinct as a result of the Merger; and that the turnover test is met. The four-month period for a decision has not yet expired. The CMA therefore believes that it is or may be the case that a relevant merger situation has been created. 3. The Parties overlap in the supply of children character brand (CCB)1 licences for the manufacture and wholesale supply of CCB-based consumer goods2 in the United Kingdom (UK). In addition, the Parties overlap in the supply of film, television and digital (FTD) content, as well as gaming apps, based on their own CCBs in the UK. However, the CMA found that the Merger does not, prima facie, give rise to competition concerns in relation to the supply of FTD and gaming apps. Therefore, the CMA’s competitive assessment is focused 1 CCB refers to a property right relating to the name and design of a fictional character targeted at children (in this Decision, the demographic segment comprising the ages of 0 to 11 years old).
