~ Next Dance ~ CSDS Holiday Dance (2nd Saturday) Saturday, Dec. 13th We look forward to seeing everyone at (2nd Saturday!) our annual HolidayPotluck Dance Unity Church on Saturday, December 13th (it's the DJ/Lesson Instructor 2nd Saturday!) at Unity Church ~ festive attire is encouraged! It's an Kristin Wenger optional Potluck too; please bring a Nightclub 2Step Lessons small side dish/dessert to share if you 77:45 pm Beginner can. CSDS will provide beverages and 7:458 pm Intermediate serving ware. You don't want to miss Dance, 811 pm Lisa Morales' yummy crab dip!
December Dances Kristin Wenger will teach the predance lessons in (Monthly/Special Events*) Nightclub 2Step (inc. in admission) beginner from 77:45 pm and intermediate from 7:458 pm, and then be our DJ Friday, Dec. 5th from 811 pm with the popular West Coast Swing Lounge 1st Friday Swing & Salsa (all WCS music!) from 1011 pm. Lynchburg Salsa 9 pm 12 midnight
Friday, Dec. 5th Swing Swap Holiday Break 1st Friday Jig Jam Swing Swap will not be held on December 25th and January Rigby's Jig 1st; we plan to return on Thursday, January 8th (we'll send 7:308:3010:30 pm out a notice to confirm!). We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday break and a Happy New Year! Saturday, Dec. 6th Workshops by Kristin Wenger 1 pm NC2, 2 pm WCS West Coast Swing in Richmond! Location: The Dance Space We're excited about West Side of Swing in Richmond, Virginia, newly formed by our Saturday, Dec. 6th dance buds Ashley Byrd and Tammy Rocktown Rocks 3rd Davis! They've enjoyed being a part of Anniversary Dance CSDS and our established WCS 77:30811 pm community; now they hope to develop the same interest in WCS in Richmond. For Saturday, Dec. 13th starts, they're hosting a monthly dance CSDS Holiday Dance (the 3rd Friday) starting Friday DJ/Instructor Kristin Wenger December 19th and we are all cordially invited! Admission Festive Attire Encouraged! is just $8 and includes lessons (77:30 pm Beginner, 7:308 Bring A Dish to Share! pm Int./Adv.) taught by Kristin Wenger, open dancing (811 77:45811 pm pm) and refreshments. Pictured above are just some of the 45+/ dancers from Central Virginia who attended DC Swing eXperience, one of Saturday, Dec. 27th Dave Moldover's West Coast Swing events in Northern VA. A USA Dance (Ballroom) good time was had by all and C'ville/Central VA represented DJ/Lesson Instructor (WCS) well in competition! We had clean sweeps (1st, 2nd & 3rd Kristin Wenger Places) in the ProAm Novice and Sophisticated Jack & Jill 7:15810 pm (4th Sat.) divisions go C'ville Dancers!!
