Brainstorming Workshop - Study on Enhancing Walkability in

Prof. Alain Chiaradia summing up a Group discussion at the Brainstorming Workshop on Study on Enhancing Walkability in Hong Kong on 28 July 2018. This workshop aims to solicit views of members of the District Councils and general public's aspiration and perceptions on walkability, including its challenges, as well as how to enhance the overall walkability in Hong Kong to meet pedestrian needs. Hong Kong Institute of Planners Awards 2018 – Invitation for Submissions

The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) Awards are given annually to HKIP members and related professionals in recognition of their outstanding achievements in town planning. Through the delivery of awards, HKIP also wish to raise public awareness in good planning principles and practice, and to encourage pursuit of excellence amongst planners in Hong Kong. HKIUD is a supporting organization.

This year, Young Planners Awards are introduced to encourage and honour active participation and contribution of young planners to the planning profession in particular and community affairs in general, as well as to promote and foster professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm amongst themselves.

Submissions are now invited for HKIP Awards and Young Planners Awards 2018. The deadline for submissions is 27 September 2018.
