Senior Spotlight: Callum H. I was born in Sydney, Australia and lived there for about 11 years before I moved to Cayman. People usually mistake me as shy and quiet but I just don't like small talk. I spend a lot of time working on myself and by myself. I like hanging out with friends but I like to be independent. There aren't many interesting things that people don't know about me because I'm young and inexperienced. I like a lot of different music but I mostly like new age SoundCloud rap. My favorite artists include Lil skies, Lil mosey, Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd, A$AP Rocky, Juice Wrld, Killy, Kodak Black, and Lil Peep just to name a few. I don't think I could say I have one favorite song of all time because it depends on the mood. What makes me like music so much is a combination of the lyrics and beat and also the message or energy that the song portrays. For example, Travis Scott's “Goosebumps” is one song that emits a lot of good energy. It's a good party song. On the other hand, if I'm down I might listen to some Juice Wrld. Juice Wrld is a fairly new artist that raps about a lot of deep subjects and emotions. I also like to listen to music because I can relate to what they are saying. My favorite quote is “I think it’s fine” by Danny Duncan. I like this quote because it's simple and the message is that you shouldn't get tied up about stuff that doesn't matter. A time where I wanted to quit but didn’t is basically every time I do homework I want to quit but I don't because my parents want me to graduate, and I want to too. I like when people have the same taste in music. I can usually relate to them if they like the same music. I try to focus on myself. Focusing on others can be toxic and you don’t grow as a person if you don’t invest in yourself. .
