Registration Open for Public Jazz 3-on-3 Tournament During Summer League All ages, skill levels to compete outdoors at Park Place on July 2

SALT LAKE CITY (May 18, 2018) – A sea of courts will take over the Park Place parking lot adjacent to Vivint Smart Home Arena when the first 3-on-3 Tournament is held on Monday, July 2 as part of the Utah Jazz Summer League festivities.

The tournament offers opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to compete with 34 different divisions. Team signups are now available at www.utahjazzsummerleague.com. Registration includes three games and a single elimination tournament along with a T-shirt, admission ticket to one day of Utah Jazz Summer League and a drawstring bag.

The Utah Jazz 3-on-3 Tournament offers a variety of recreational and competitive levels, starting with 10U boys and girls divisions through “Top Gun” men’s and women’s categories. Four players are signed up for each team. Each age group is represented along with specialty divisions such as six-foot-and-under and corporate team entries. Tournament check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and play will finish before the Summer League doubleheader that night.

Prizes for winning teams in each division are four tickets to a Utah Jazz game this upcoming regular season. The “Top Gun” male winners will receive free entry to the Stars G League open tryouts. The “Top Gun” female winners will receive one hour of court time at Vivint Smart Home Arena for their use.

The six-game, four-team Utah Jazz Summer League will be held on July 2, 3 and 5 at Vivint Smart Home Arena, featuring the Utah Jazz, Spurs, and . Six first-round picks from the NBA Draft 2018 will be eligible to play. The Utah Jazz Summer League showcases rookies, sophomores, select free agents and athletes competing to make NBA and G League regular season rosters.

Tickets sales begin today. Lower bowl tickets are available at $8 for a one-day pass or $15 for a three-day pass. A one-day pass provides access to both games played on that day.
