Education Week 2021

We will celebrate Education Week in Week 3 next term with the theme Lifelong Learners. Education Week is your chance to celebrate the achievements of your school, students and learning community. Education is a ‘Lifelong Journey’. Continuous learning is critical for success throughout life and everyone can be a lifelong learner.

Education Week will run from Monday, 26 July, to Friday, 30 July. It’s our annual week of celebration, held in NSW for more than 50 years, to highlight the achievements of our students and staff and the role of public schools as the cornerstone of their communities.

Sports Report by Mimi On Thursday 10 June, Scarlett went to the Cross Country in Gundagai. Scarlett amazingly came 13th out of 78 girls competing. Well done Scarlett, great effort!

We are still skipping madly every morning and have raised $1,278 for the Jump Rope for Heart foundation so far! We can still keep skipping at home and raise money for this charity up until the last day of school.

On Thursday and Friday of Week 8, we had a professional skipper named Tom come to school and teach us new skills and tricks. He also helped us come up with a routine that we were able to perform at last week's assembly.

Last Friday, we hosted Bongongo Public School to play in the PSSA touch small schools’ knockout competition. Unfortunately, we were not able to come away with a win and wish Bongongo luck in the next round of the competition.
