    Congratulations to the Farwell High School Class of 2021 Congratulations to the graduating Farwell High School Class of 2021 and thank you to all the families, community members, educators, support staff, mentors, coaches, organizations, businesses, and scholarship donors who helped these students in their journey. This is truly a celebration for everyone! Every spring we (as a school and community) are reminded how extraordinary our seniors are, and we rejoice in them accomplishing their goals and venturing forward in pursuit of their dreams. As a community we are invested in our youth and through scholarships, we can assist them in advancing their knowledge, confidence, and skills in pursuit of a better tomorrow. While we celebrate our seniors, it is important to express our gratitude towards the businesses, organizations, and individuals that make these opportunities possible. Without them, students would have an additional financial hurdle to face in their path to success. The impact of these scholarships goes well beyond a monetary value. It is a vote of confidence that our donors believe in our seniors and their future success. As a counselor, I am so grateful to all of our collegiate and community scholarship donors that reach out and help build that bridge for our students. Receiving these scholarships is an acknowledgement of our seniors’ hard work and dedication. Thank you very much for supporting the students of Farwell High School!     Clare High School Pioneers in 306 Schoolcrest Avenue Education Clare, MI 48617 __________________________________________________________ May 21, 2021 RE: Clare High School Senior-Athletes of the Year Clare High School would like to formally announce Jon Bouchey as the winner of the 2021 Rex T. Robinette Outstanding Male Senior Athlete Award, and Bailey Taylor as the Class of 2021 Clare High School Outstanding Female Senior Athlete. The award, which has honored a Pioneer senior since 1968 on the boys’ side and 1978 on the girls’ side, is voted on by the CHS Varsity head coaches. Their votes account for the athletic accomplishments by the student-athletes while also considering their character, leadership abilities, and impact on their programs. Bailey Taylor earned 10 Varsity letters as a Pioneer. On the soccer pitch, she was a starter from her freshman year on, was named All-Conference and All-District her freshman and sophomore seasons (Junior year wiped out due to COVID-19), and a captain for the Pioneers this season. She was a 3- year Varsity volleyball player, earned first team All-JPC honors twice, named to the All-State Individual Academic team, and helped lead Clare to consecutive district championships while notching more aces and digs than any other player since 2015. And on the basketball court during a 4-year Varsity career, she was a two-time All-JPC selection, named to the Bay City Times Dream Team, and was an Outstanding Student-Athlete Award recipient from the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan. She is planning on continuing her academic and basketball career at Adrian College next fall.

It has been relocated to the hallway that is the north entrance to the Student Activities Center (SAC), just south of Rose Area. The entrance is just north of the stone sign for the MHSCA Hall of Fame.
