OAKLAND NOTES  The Oakland Athletics overcame a five-run deficit for the win, tying their largest come-from-behind win this season (April 28 at Baltimore, April 29 vs. Los Angeles)…are now 9-4 against the Angels this season.  Jarrod Parker tied an Oakland record by recording his sixth straight no decision (, , )…set a new career high by issuing seven walks…marks the most walks by an A’s since walked seven on June 14, 2011 vs. Kansas City…also tied a franchise record with his 11th straight game allowing five or fewer hits while tossing at least three innings (Rich Harden, April 9, 2006-April 15, 2007).  Yoenis Cespedes (3 for 5, 2 2b, 4 rbi, so) tied a career high with 4 RBI…recorded his first multi-RBI game since June 21 at Seattle.  Seth Smith (0 for 3, bb, 3 so) extended his career long hitless streak to 29 at bats.  Eric Sogard (3 for 4, 2b, 2 rbi, 2 r) extended his career-high hitting streak to seven games with a double in the third inning…10 of his last 18 hits have gone for extra bases.

LOS ANGELES NOTES  The are now 4-6 since the All-Star Break and are 1-3 on this seven-game road trip to Oakland (1-3) and Texas (three games)…Angels walked seven or more hitters in a game for the seventh time this season (four of seven have come against Oakland)…five runs ties the largest lead blown in a loss this season (April 29 at Oakland, May 27 at Los Angeles).  Tommy Hanson set a new season high by issuing five walks…failed to pitch at least five innings for just the second time in 11 starts this season.  Mark Trumbo (2 for 5, 2b, so, rbi, r) recorded his fifth multi-hit game in his last seven contests…is 11 for his last 24 (.458) after tallying nine hits in his previous 52 at-bats (.173).  Erick Aybar (2 for 3, 2b, 3b, 2 bb, rbi, r, sb) is now 9 for 14 (.643) with a triple and three walks against Jarrod Parker in his career.
