March 13th-

- The day this picture was taken was March 13th, 2020. I would probably say the last normal day we ever had. I actually took this picture for school project which is why it is right in the front of the school. Never in a million years did I know what the future held for me this day, or that this was the last time I was going to be on campus as a student here.

March 2020, First days of Quarantine

- The last few weeks of March (the first days of quarantine) were filled with all kinds of different emotions! We were doing things like painting, fashion shows, facetiming our friends, reminiscing, getting ready for absolutely no reason, and even obsessing over Timothee Chalamet! Again, confused about how everything was going to turn out, what the future looked like, and even the outside! We did not go outside (in public) for the remainder of the month! I would rate this month 6/10

April 2020

- April 2020 was also just as confusing as March 2020! This month was filled with watching sunsets from my room, trying crazy makeup looks, still obsessing over Timothee Chalamet, looking back at old pictures, spending Easter without my extended family, and even bleaching my hair! I would rate this month it a 4/10.

May 2020, Happy Birthday gizzle <3

- During this month I turned 18, and finally became an “adult”! It was our second month of quarantine, and we were honestly starting to get used to it. I was still binge watching shows, facetiming loved ones, watching sunsets, and obsessing over Timothee Chalamet, duh! For my birthday my family surprised me with my friends driving by in their cars to say hi! This was the first time I had seen since March, so it was very special for me! I also finally saw my family for the first time again so it was great! I would rate this month a 8/10?!

June 2020, Summer!!!

- June 2020 was okay (:! It is the month we all started to know how to kind of deal with this. I finally graduated highschool, although I wish I would’ve had the full experience, I was still very proud of myself for finishing high school! I spent this month educating myself on the current events, being in love with Timothee Chalamet became an advocate, went on different hikes, quarantining with my cousins, and protests! I rate this month an 8.5/10 as well! (:

July 2020, Summer pt.2

- July was also a nice month, my family and I spent more time with each other but also keeping things safe! I dyed my hair pink! after always wanting to do so! I quarantined more with my cousins, went to an empty beach, watched sunsets, and although Timothee is not in this one I was STILL obsessing over him (:. I definitely rate this month an 8.6/10!

August 2020

- The month of August was alright! Continued to go on hikes with my family, spent more time with my family in general, watching movies, going to the park, etc.! I sadly started to become more distant with “friends” by losing contact, but I started to focus more on myself and school! I started my first semester of college this month! so that was pretty cool! I would rate this month a 6.5/10! (:

September 2020, yikes!

- The month of September I spent most of my time with my family! After we learned how to deal with things and still be safe, we spent more of our time together. I also spent time with my high school friends Sarah and Leslie, which was really cool because I missed them a ton! Went to the beach a couple more times, still had pink hair, and was still in love with Timmy. I definitely rate this month a 7/10.

October 2020, spooky!!

- Finally October, ALREADY! It seemed like we got here fast! During this month I spent most of my time at work, because I finally got my first job! (: I was really excited and nervous at first, but it all worked out at the end. This halloween we ended up spending at and not going out! We watched scary movies, ate candy, and laughed a whole lot! I rate this month a 6/10! (:

Finally, November 2020

- It is finally November, which means we are almost done with the year!!! This month went by the quickest in my opinion, before I knew it, it was already Thanksgiving and then December. For Thanksgiving this year my family and I spent it alone, without my other extended family members, not because we wanted to but in order to stay safe. Since covid cases began to rise again and curfews were set, it was better for to follow procedures and stay at home! Although it was hard, I know it’s going to make our reunion even more special! I rate this month a 7.5/10.

December, last few days of 2020 dec. 5th, 2020 - It is finally December, we’re almost done with the year and I honestly can't wait. I feel like this year has definitely been one for the books. I have never wanted to be closer to my family more than ever, but because of the times we are in we must respect the rules. ): I am so glad that after everything my family and I are still safe and healthy. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me next year. I pray it is good news and a better future. - giselle
