Zdenko Verdenik Vanja Starčević Recenzent: izr. prof. dr. 2 Ključne besede: nogomet, analiza igre, taktika v obrambi, metodika učenja IZ IGRE DO IGRE – METODIKA UČENJA BRANJENJA NA OSNOVI ANALIZE IGRE ŠPANSKE NOGOMETNE REPREZENTANCE V FAZI NAPADA – ZMAGOVALCA NA EURU 2008 Vanja Starčević Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za šport, 2009 Športno treniranje, nogomet 86 strani, 105 slik, 54 skic, 11 virov IZVLEČEK: V prvem delu naloge predstavljam taktiko in metodiko nogometne igre. 3 Key words: football, game analysis, phase of defence, teaching methodology IZ IGRE DO IGRE – METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING DEFENCE BASED ON AN ANALYSIS OF THE SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM GAME IN THE ATTACKING PHASE University of Ljubljana, Faculty of sport, 2009 Sports training, football 86 pages, 105 pictures, 54 schemes, 11 bibliography references ABSTRACT: The first part of the thesis presents tactics and methodology of the game of football. Tactics are used as the basis for the analysis of the Spanish national team's game in the attacking phase (Spain were the champions at Euro 2008). The thesis then moves to draw on typical game situations, which highlighted key elements of Spain's tactics in their offensive game. This served as the basis for tactics for the defensive phase, which could attempt to thwart the Spanish offence as efficiently as possible. Aided by the methodology of the game of football, I would transfer tactical ideas on to the pitch and the players themselves. In teaching players on how to play the game, only explaining certain tactical ideas is seldom good enough. It would also be improper for the coach to expect immediate execution of the tactics immediately. With the help of teaching methods, such as the situation method and the game method, we are able to achieve the desired playing effect at matches in minimum time. The situation method privileges the use of exercises which we call game situations, while the game method prefers playing forms. The aim of the diploma thesis is to present the methodology of teaching and applicability of the situation method and game method in developing and designing a game strategy and solving specific problems in the defensive phase. 4 KAZALO 1 UVOD ........................................................................................................................... 7 2 PREDMET IN PROBLEM Z analizo iger na Evropskem prvenstvu v nogometu v Avstriji in v Švici leta 2008 smo ugotovili določene zakonitosti nogometne igre v fazi napada, ki jih izvajajo najboljše evropske reprezentence. V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni metodični koraki učenja in treniranja tehnično-taktičnih rešitev v fazi napada: kako s pomočjo igralnih situacij in igralnih oblik, ki so ena vodilnih učnih metod v trenažnem procesu vrhunskih ekip, pridemo do željene igre moštva.

SPORTS STRATEGY, 2000-2006 Kimio Kase* Sandalio Gómez** Ignacio Urrutia*** Magdalena Opazo**** Carlos Martí**** Abstract Over the period 2000-2006, Real Madrid Football Club and Barcelona Football Club pursued different strategies and achieved different results. In the latter half of the period (in contrast to the first half), Real Madrid won no trophies but was crowned the richest club in the world1. Meanwhile, after a disconcerting start, Barcelona won a UEFA Champions League and two La Liga titles, though it struggled financially. By analyzing the two clubs’ strategies and their financial and sporting performance over the chosen period we explore the different ways in which sports organizations can succeed, and how their success can be measured. The purpose of this study is to answer the following questions: What strategies did Real Madrid and Barcelona adopt to bring about this reversal of fortunes in a few short years? What variables explain the difference in outcomes? Are there any differences in their business and sports strategies? We use a matrix to analyze and relate the clubs’ financial and business strategy to their sports strategy.

If their fortunes could not have differed more greatly from four years ago, something similar could be said for Spain. • Spain drew 1-1 with Greece in their second outing at UEFA EURO 2004™ before a 1-0 defeat by Portugal then sent them spinning out of the tournament. Luis Aragonés's team, by contrast, made sure of their quarter-final place with a game to spare on Saturday after a last-gasp victory against Sweden. • David Villa's 92nd-minute goal snatched three points against Sweden after Zlatan Ibrahimović (34) had cancelled out Fernando Torres' 15th-minute opener. Villa built on his opening-game exploits against Russia, scoring a hat-trick (20, 44, 75) before Cesc Fàbregas (90+1) registered his first international goal in a 4-1 triumph. • Spain went into the teams' UEFA EURO 2004™ meeting in Porto as favourites and took a 28th-minute lead through Fernando Morientes, but a 66th-minute Angelos Charisteas strike earned Greece a share of the spoils.

RUSSIA - SPAIN MATCH PRESS KIT Ernst Happel, Vienna Thursday 26 June 2008 - 20.45CET (20.45 local time) Matchday 18 - Semi-finals Contents 1 - Match preview 7 - Competition facts 2 - Match facts 8 - Team facts 3 - Squad list 9 - UEFA information 4 - Head coach 10 - Competition information 5 - Match officials 11 - Legend 6 - Match-by-match lineups Match background Russia will hope that lightning does not strike twice when they take on Spain for the second time at UEFA EURO 2008™ in their semi-final at Vienna's Ernst-Happel-Stadion. • Guus Hiddink's team were well beaten by Spain in the teams' opening match of the tournament, going down 4-1 as David Villa struck a hat-trick in Innsbruck. With his three goals (20, 44, 75), Villa became the first player since 2000 to score a hat-trick on this illustrious stage before setting up the fourth goal for Cesc Fàbregas (90+1) after Roman Pavlyuchenko (86) had reduced the deficit. • If it is little surprise that Luis Aragonés's Spain have steadily built on that victory to reach their first semi-final in 24 years, Russia's impressive turnaround since that false start was perhaps less easy to predict. Yet it continues Hiddink's commendable record at major tournaments, having never failed to take a team beyond the opening stage. • After losing to Spain, Russia revived their hopes by defeating holders Greece 1-0 in Salzburg through a 33rd-minute goal by Konstantin Zyryanov. They then beat Sweden 2-0 in their decisive third group game, Pavlyuchenko (24) and Andrei Arshavin (50) scoring as Russia secured their passage to the last eight.
