See Guide to Pictoral Collections: Partington Collection--Pictorial Materials, 1957. 8-11] Photographs have been transferred to the Library's portrait collection. The original purchase included photographs and snapshots of Gertrude Atherton, Geraldine Bonner, Nora May French, Charmian London, Jack London, Miriam Michelson, Margaret Miller, Yone Noguchi, Herman Scheffauer, and Agnes Tobin. Miss Nellie Barnes gave prints of photographs of the following members of the family: John H. E. Partington with son, John Allan; Richard L. Partington; Phyllis Partington dressed for her role in "Carmen;" and John Allan Partington. In addition, she gave prints copied from photographs of portraits of Mrs. John H. E. Partington (done by her husband, ca. 1888) and of Dr. Aurelia Reinhardt (done by Richard L. Partington in 1927). The originals of these photographs are in the possession of Mrs. Richard L. Partington. Manuscripts of poems by George Sterling These have been added to the Sterling Collection (BANC MSS C-H 60). Each is identified as having been originally in the Partington Collection.
