KEY RULES - PLEASE • KEY RULES - PLEASE NOTE : NOTE : • FOLLOW GOVERNMENT CURRENT RULES • Please everybody play your part and stick both to the rules and spirit of these virtual relays. • To enter a team, a ‘team captain’ must enter a team and select the team category before the 20th Februay, the team members and times need to be confirmed within 24hours of the event. *Team category can be changed up until the start of the event if needed. • Team members DON’T need to be confirmed when entering - to give flexibilty to teams throughout, which we think is very important during this time. So, essentially the final team members along with their times only need to be confirmed on the final submission. • Runners must stick to government guidelines when undertaking this challenge. • This competition relies on individuals and teams captains to be honest when submitting results. • You can enter a team of mixed ages, we will assign you to the age cat based on the youngest person in the team, unless they are a junior then the team will default to a senior team • Runners CAN run a maximum of 2 legs for one team, they can be done a) on different days, or b) on the same run. Runners can only count a section of a run once i.e a runner can’t count the first 3k or a as two legs, they must run a 3km and a 5km separately. • Runners CAN run for another team as long as that team is in a different category. • If a runner competes for more than one team then they must run another leg, e.g. a 5km time can only be used for once and NOT counted for multiple teams. • Route selection - ultimately down to the individual to select their route. However in the spirit of things we will ask people not to use a blatantly downhill route, so the times give a fair reflection of performance and make the competition meaningful. • Runners cannot use a treadmill for their leg. • Second claim club members can run as long as their first claim club is not taking part. • *We may add more rules as we go!
