Sir, Sub: Strengthening Plan Monitoring Mechanism of District Level – District Roll Out of Planspace – Training to departments – reg.

Ref: Lr. No. 307/2015/PCD/SPB dated, 11-08-2015 of the Member Secretary, State Planning Board,

Plan space is an online monitoring system introduced by State Planning Board (Technical Support by III TMK) to review the progress of implementation of Annual Plan schemes at the state level. With a view to strengthen the Plan Monitoring Mechanism at the district level, it has been decided to extend planspace to the districts. The roll of out of the system is envisaged to facilitate the District Administration in the monitoring and evaluation of various development programmes implemented in the district. The system can be best used for the monitoring and evaluation of development programmes implemented in the district, which is being reviewed in the meetings of District Development Council, District Planning Committee and other district level review meetings including for MLASDF and MPLADS.

In this connection, to familiarise the system, a hands-on training is scheduled to all District Level Plan implementing departments at 9.30 AM on 11-12-2015 at International Training Hall, KILA, Mulankunnathkavu. Please attend the training along with a senior/middle level officer from your office. A copy of the latest plan progress report for the current financial year may also be kept with you for trial updation purpose.
