Typographic Conventions

Type Style Description Example text Words or characters quoted from the screen. These include field names, screen titles, pushbuttons labels, menu names, menu paths, and menu options. • Allow Remote Data Xchange Use -> Allow Remote Legacy Access

Effects on Data Transfer

Disabling OPCConnect Server Host prevents the manual transfer of data from an OPC client. It does not affect the automated transfer of data from an OPC client through PCo.

Disabling Local Report Server Host and Local Report Server Admin Host does not prevent the data transfer. In the new production metrics implementation, there is no connection between SAP ME and SAP ME BOBJ for data transfer.

It supports the consumption of serialized or nonserialized components and SFC numbers.

The new ENFORCE_ASSY_STATES activity rule enforces that an SFC number must be at an assembly operation before components can be consumed.

The newALLOW_PARTIAL activity rule allows the immediate scrap of a partial quantity from a nonserialized SFC number without having to split a new SFC number.

The following new fields appear on the Log NC client screen when this rule is enabled:

• Disposition Qty represents the value entered in the Qty field on the POD or the quantity to be scrapped

• Total Defect Count Qty displays the sum logged for each nonconformance code and used to reduce the SFC quantity at this operation
