In addition: • High business rates for start-up businesses or those that move to bigger premises Information Classification: CONTROLLED Liskeard and Looe Community Network Priorities • Neighbourhood Planning to give local people a say in the development of their area • Improved Super-Fast Broadband needed Morval Parish Council • Speed limit along the main road through Morval • Street lighting in Widegates • The potential for a Gypsy and Traveller site adjacent to the A38 • Poor broadband and mobile telephone service • Provision of traffic calming measures within Widegates Village • Provision of local affordable housing • Provision of play areas for the parish • Responding to complaints about smells created by the Viridor Site • Negative effects to the area brought about by renewable solar farms and wind turbines • Improvements to the A38 and its junctions • Promoting the tourist potential of SE Cornwall • Potential negative knock on effects of a Gypsy and Traveller site being created adjacent to the A38 and the dangerous Looe junction Armand’s priorities for Looe • Parking charges for residents, visitors and businesses • Small start up Business Units for the town and workspace for startups • Outer Harbour regeneration project for the town, to get it onto the LEP wish list, this project has benefit for all former Caradon area • Youth services for the town, skateboard park Information Classification: CONTROLLED Liskeard and Looe Community Network Priorities • Support for the towns tourism businesses • Aid to get Polean and Barratts industrial sites developed Polperro Community Council • Public Toilets • Parking Enforcement • Establishing Neighbourhood Development Plan Dobwalls & Trewidland • Improving broadband and telephone services • Employment • Neighbourhood Planning • Street cleaning At the next Community Network Panel meeting on 13 July 2015 the CNP will be asked to agree and adopt the draft priorities. .
