NERGC 2023 in Springfield, MA which is scheduled for May 4-6, 2023

Annual Meeting 2021 We are all set for the Annual Meeting 2021. (November 6, 2021, virtual.) We have two speakers, a business meeting, awards, prizes, and a member contribution project/powerpoint. Thomas MacEntee will present a Genealogy Escape Room with a focus on an ancestor involved with a New Deal Program. Michael Strauss will present The New Deal: Putting Your Ancestors to Work.

The member contribution powerpoint is focused on sharing our research and our ancestors that may have worked in or benefitted from any of the New Deal programs. We hope that like last year, our members want to share their research and submit a document. We are looking for any document or research that shows an ancestor was linked to any New Deal Program. The documents may be records from the CCC or a death certificate noting the ancestor was employed in the WPA Sewing Project. Our members responded positively last year to the project. https://livingnewdeal.org/about/
