The perfect combination of waterproof plastic ASB housing construction, solar energy, LED performance, timer, motion and light sensor technology programmable by remote control.  Easy installation with no cables or mains power required. The fully integrated design ensures ease of installation with no need to run electric cabling. The Solar LED Light can be installed on vertical surfaces including timber, metal sheeting, brick, concrete and posts from 40mm to 60mm in diameter in an outdoor location that has direct sunlight. Installation The Solar LED Light can be mounted on a pole or vertical surface. For optimal performance the solar panel should face in a northerly direction to capture optimum sunlight to fully recharge the battery. Performance is reduced when the solar panel is not facing north and in direct sunlight.

Surface Mount: Attach solar light to surface with lag bolts, turn the light to “ON” position. Tips  Choose a location to optimise sunlight exposure and prevent, where possible, the solar panel from being affected by shadows or not facing in a northerly direction.  When you first install the unit the battery may have discharged. Turn the switch to the “OFF" position and allow the solar panel to charge the unit under direct sunlight for 1-2 days before turning the light “ON". Once completed, your Solar LED Light will perform optimally only requiring periodic cleaning with a damp cloth to remove any dust or debris.  When the ambient temperature rises close to human body temperature the detection distance of the infrared motion sensor will be shortened as it operates off body heat.  The performance of the light is based on direct sunlight and ideal installation conditions. As the unit relies on solar energy, please understand that on cloudy/rainy days, or in winter when the days are shorter and the is less intense, the solar energy received is not as powerful as in full sun or summer conditions which will impact on the performance of the light. Installing the solar panel facing in a non-northerly direction will reduce the solar panel's exposure to sunlight and shorten the operating time of the light between charges.  The unit is fully sealed and should not be opened or repaired.
