Part of Community Orchard The orchard is a partnership between Leicestershire County Council, the National Forest Company and Broombriggs Farm the community of the villages of Woodhouse and Woodhouse Eaves. It has been designed and planted by villagers and will provide a regular harvest of fruit each year as well and Windmill Hill as a place for everyone to enjoy. Fruit trees include apples, pears, plums, damsons and cherries many of which are sweet, eating varieties.

Woodland Many of the existing woodlands and parkland trees on the farm are the result of imaginative, well designed planting on the estate during the 19th and 20th centuries. These have recently been enhanced by the introduction of a new generation of trees and woodland areas as part of our wider contribution to the Views from National Forest.
