    Sexto lugar para relevo cubano de 4x400 en Rio Rio de Janeiro, 20 ago (RHC) El relevo masculino cubano de 4x400 metros concluyó sexto en la final olímpica de Rio, con excelente tiempo de 2:59.53 minutos, su mejor marca de la temporada y quinta de la historia. Williams Collazo, Adrián Chacón, Osmaidel Pellicier Lescay y Yoandys Lescay Pardo brillaron en la pista del estadio olímpico de Rio, donde solamente fueron superados por los equipos de Estados Unidos (2:57.30), Jamaica (2:5816), Bahamas (2:58.49), Bélgica (2:58.52) y Botswana (2:59.06). El registro mejora el 2:59.80 que marcaron en el Mundial de Beijng-2015 (2:59.80), cuando integraron la cuarteta (Collazo, Chacón, Lescay y Raidel Acea, quien hoy reside fuera de Cuba). “Estamos muy contentos y orgullosos. Cuando clasificamos a la final de octavos (el viernes) dijimos que lo importante era haber clasificado e hicimos el compromiso de que en la final teníamos que correr al máximo", dijo el cerrador del cuarteto Lescay, quien en los 400 metros llevó su tope personal a 45.00 flat. “Sabíamos que iba a ser una gran carrera.
