HEALTH UPDATES IOM continues with EVD prevention and preparedness activities in the 5 PoEs in Morobo, Yei, Nimule, Juba and Wau. In week twentieth, 3,404 inbound travelers were screened bringing the cumulative number of travelers screened to 2,283,820. There was no traveler who underwent secondary screening. The reopening of airport and flights, contributed to notable increase in the number of travelers in Wau airstrip, JIA and Yei Airstrip.

DTM UPDATES Eight FMPs submitted data on time for the weekly update, while two could not submit on time. Based on data submitted by Monday 18 May, 1,702 individuals were surveyed in groups on arrival to during the reporting period. The number of incoming travelers remains low due to mobility restrictions related to COVID-19. The main regions of departure were Ituri (52.2% of respondents) and Haut-Uele (11.7%) in DRC, while the main reported counties of destination were Morobo (51.9%) and Juba (20.6%). Most respondents reported South Sudanese nationality (71.5%), followed by Ugandan (16.5%).
