That goal is to help the students of Dove reach their highest potential a potential that includes intellectual, social, emotional, and physical while focusing that potential toward STEM.  We use a variety of intervention methods to help our students including 9th hour and Saturday school for those struggling in an academic area. 4 year 2 year  Dove has consistent and documented success with student performance despite the fact that we are a lottery based school that has ELL learners, all different levels of learners when they enter the system at 6th grade.  By the time that they have arrived at the 12th grade they are prepared and have been accepted to a college(s). This is accomplished by intensive teacher and parent involvement.  With home visits by teachers, extra learning time in our 9th hour and Saturday school programs for struggling students. We also advocate for literacy with use of our Accelerated reader, and the personal goals that each student receives. We are able to do more for less because we expect more from our students and our staff.
