Admission Information 2017 Admission Information 2017 Postgraduate Programs supported by Chinese Government Scholarship at A Full Time and Full Scholarship Program

International students, who want to study for a Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree at Beihang University (BUAA), are welcome to apply for the Postgraduate Programs at Beihang University supported by Chinese Government Scholarship. This is a full time program with full scholarship, covering tuition fee, accommodation, living allowance, normal medical service, comprehensive insurance, etc., except for international travel expenses. The program will start in early September 2017 and the study period is 2 to 3 years for master programs and 3 to 4 years for doctoral programs.

Qualification

For master programs, the candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35; for doctoral programs, the candidates should have a master’s degree and be under the age of 40. Applicants should have a good command of English or Chinese and be able to take courses in English or Chinese. Majors sponsored by the scholarship do not include language study, such as Chinese, English, etc..

Application Documents Required All documents should be in English or Chinese or provided with translations in English or Chinese. 1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship; 2. Highest degree certificate (notarized photocopy or original one) or certificate of expected graduation date issued by the applicant’s university; 3. Notarized or original academic transcript; 4. A study or research plan (no less than 500 words); 5. Two recommendation letters from professors or academic experts; 6. The results of TOEFL, IELTS or HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test), or other English/Chinese proficiency certificates; 7. Photocopy of Physical Examination Form and the Report on Blood Examination (download); 8. Photocopy of remittance receipt for application fee (RMB400 or US$70); 9. Photocopy of the first page of passport (information page); 10. List of application documents and postal address confirmed (download). Application Procedures and Admission Schedule  Please first visit the website of the International School for majors available (http://is.buaa.edu.cn);  Apply online for Chinese Government Scholarship through the Website of CSC (http://laihua.csc.edu.cn), fill up the Application Form, submit the completed Application Form online and print it as required. Please do note that the “Agency Number” of Beihang University is 10006.  The online application will begin around mid-December, 2016. h  The instruction language will be English or Chinese. Applicants are asked to choose the instruction language in t the Application Form when applying on line.
