MISSION COMMUNITY PLANNING PROCESS: What has been proposed is as follows: Domestic Gardening Services: No Job too small Lawn care and grass cutting The Penrith area will be divided into four Mission Communities. Weeding and seasonal planting Patios, paths and drives cleaned Each area will have a Mission Community Leader (MCL) and a Local Church Lead Hedge cutting and pruning (LCL) for each village church/chapel. An office for the 4 Mission Communities in Penrith. Contact: Gordon Henry Clark Tel: 016974 75748 Mob: 07919673101 The ecumenical discipleship strategy will be called ‘GOD FOR ALL’ Ecumenical cooperation between the Methodist, URC and Anglican churches will be enabled by a framework called ‘Covenanted Partnerships in extended areas’, or CPEA. The CPEA enables church councils, in Cumbria, to ‘opt in’ to a scheme allowing inter denominational sharing of ministries for Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation. Inglewood PCCs are asked to vote on the framework by the end of the JCC/PCC meeting on the September 2015. The Bishop hopes that the vast majority of Anglican churches will embrace the CPEA. No Canon Law will be changed as a result.
