We call the pharmacies on this list our “network pharmacies” because we have made arrangements with them to provide prescription drugs to Plan members. In most cases, your prescriptions are covered under KeyCare Advantage (HMO I-SNP) only if they are filled at a network pharmacy [or through our mail order pharmacy service]. Once you go to one pharmacy, you are not required to continue going to the same pharmacy to fill your prescription but can switch to any other of our network pharmacies. Baltimore County, Maryland 2017 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan As Adopted by the Baltimore County Council June 5, 2017 COUNTY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND Legislative Session 2017, Legislative Day No. 10 Resolution No. 55-17 Mr. Tom Quirk, Chairman By Request of County Executive By the County Council, May 25, 2017 A RESOLUTION to adopt the Baltimore County, Maryland 2017 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP) as an addendum to the Baltimore County Master Plan 2020. WHEREAS, the Baltimore County Council adopted the Baltimore County Master Plan 2020 on November 15, 2010; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore County Council adopted the 2005-2006 Baltimore County Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan Update as a Baltimore County Master Plan 2020 addendum on January 20, 2015; and WHEREAS, Title 5, Subtitle 9 of the Natural Resources Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland requires a local governing body to revise its land preservation and recreation plan every five years and submit the plan to the Maryland Departments of Natural Resources and Planning for review and approval; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore County Departments of Recreation and Parks, Planning, and Environmental Protection and Sustainability worked cooperatively to draft the required 2017 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore County Planning Board approved the 2017 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan on April 20, 2017; and WHEREAS, the Baltimore County Council has reviewed the amended 2017 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Council of Baltimore County, Maryland that the Baltimore County, Maryland 2017 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan, be and is hereby adopted and incorporated into the Baltimore County Master Plan 2020 to serve as a guide for meeting the recreation, park, and open space needs of the Citizens of Baltimore County; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be sent to the Maryland Departments of Natural Resources and Planning. -

Bruder Senior Architectural Historian May 2010 (Final September 2011) 2 Abstract Between 1948 and 1965, the Maryland State Roads Commission (SRC) built 3,452 miles of new highways and 557 bridges throughout the state in order to correct long standing engineering problems found on older roads. The SRC sought to create safe roads and bridges using design standards that would result in an efficient transportation system. In Maryland, the need for the new highways came about as a result of rapidly growing traffic volumes, new suburban development outside the state’s cities and towns, and the need for military preparedness because of Maryland’s common border with Washington, DC. These problems had existed before World War II, but by 1947 required resolution. Three public works programs, “The Five Year Plan,” “The Twelve Year Program,” and the “Go Roads Program” provided funding for the highway construction projects. Although the SRC was solely responsible for the design of the highways and bridges, and the development of the programs, political leadership by Governors William Preston Lane, Jr., Theodore R. McKeldin and J. Millard Tawes allowed the SRC to receive dedicated financing in order to complete construction of new highways and bridges. The new highways and bridge transformed Maryland’s landscape and connected neighboring areas within the state with ease and speed. -
