Burials Barnack Parish Council is a Burials Authority. It is also responsible for maintaining the cemetery, the churchyard and the war memorial green. BARNACK DEFIBRILLATOR A defibrillator is located on the side wall of Barnack Village Hall for use in emergencies. Dial 999 for the access code and an ambulance. When 5 you open the cabinet and switch on the device it will guide you through the procedure until emergency services arrive.

BARNACK HILLS AND HOLES NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE This area of flower-rich limestone grassland is owned by Burghley House Preservation Trust and managed by . It is open to pedestrians. Please clean up after your dog; bins are provided. Site manager (Natural England) 01780 444704

BARNACK SCHOOL FIELD Visitors from the local community may use the school field for recreation during school holidays, at weekends, and after school during term time. The buildings and the area behind the school are out of bounds. The following are prohibited: - dogs - smoking, alcohol, drugs - motorised vehicles, drones, model aircraft - music - fires, barbecues, fireworks - golf. The site must be vacated by 6pm in winter and 9pm in summer. Please use the litter bins and treat the site, other users and nearby residents with consideration. CCTV cameras may be in operation. Misuse of the site should be reported to the police (101 or the local PCSO on 07525 227482) or via [email protected] and Barnack Parish Council (07595 377236 or [email protected])

CRICKET FIELD Please avoid the wicket at all times and do not allow children to climb on the cover. Clean up after your dog and take the bags home. Please respect the privacy of neighbours.

BUS AND TRANSPORT SERVICES Delaine Buses Service 201/202 runs between Bourne and Peterborough, via Stamford, Barnack and . Buses run approximately hourly in both directions, from early morning until early evening. There is no bus service on Sundays. Timetables available from the bus station in Queensgate and from bus drivers, or view at www.delainebuses.com

CallConnect This is an on-demand minibus service covering the Stamford and Peterborough area. It is funded by several local authorities, including Peterborough City Council. There is no fixed timetable and the route is defined by passenger demand. Concessionary bus passes are valid. The minibus picks up and sets down at designated places, but in certain circumstances will collect people from their homes. You need to register for membership before booking. Rural Dial-a-Ride This is a not-for-profit service to Peterborough City Centre, available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for people who cannot access public transport. The vehicle collects you from home and delivers you back there. Concessionary bus passes are valid but membership is subject to a small annual fee (£5 per person or £7.50 for a couple from the same address). Book at least two days in advance by calling 01733 317460
