Exclusively for a true #LAFashionista EDITOR’S NOTE AVOID THE CROWDS It appears that we just blinked and another holiday season is before us. There were no opportunities to plan ahead, make a wish list, or even check it twice. However, we can’t help but welcome this time of year YOUR HOLIDAY SHOPPING IS again. Yes, it is often seen as a shopping season where it all becomes about what you buy and for whom—but we ask that you look past the JUST A CLICK AWAY frenetic commercial interactions. Enjoy the glitz and glamour of a holiday window or the layering of a coat and sweater to avoid the brisk wind against your skin. Or maybe just sit back with a cup of hot cocoa as you (IT’S HOW WE DID IT) shamefully blast KOST 103.5 to sing along to your holiday favorites. I know we are as we work through deadlines. We may even begin to do last minute shopping between articles—after all, it’s just #research. shop the lafmboutique.com The holidays always bring magic to the streets. Maybe it’s the fashion, the decor or the simple fact that we are all running around thinking of one another. It may sound very Hallmark of us, but there is a lot of sadness and loneliness out there; our best gift is to show those individuals what the holidays are all about. It’s easy to be caught up in our own lives, even I am at fault, but the best gift is being there, paying attention and remembering that no matter the amount of time, it’s about the camaraderie. We all get so busy that we forget to turn around and thank those in our lives or to even make space for new friends. So as you begin to review your holiday list one last time, ask yourself when you last gave your time to someone else—don’t be a scrooge. You never know, that one call might give you reason to put on those new pumps with an LBD and red lipstick—or they may be the perfect companion to come over and sip wine as you gift wrap. Nonetheless, it’ll bring out the spirit of the season. Therefore, while we share some holiday last minute favorites with you in this issue, we also infuse our best memories from the team alongside of some art and music...all wrapped up with a little romance for the season under the mistletoe. Engagement Report April 12, 2018 Table of Contents Introduction..............................................2 Our Approach............................................3 Overview of Outreach................................7 Business Feedback Metrics........................20 Media Coverage........................................26 Qualtrics Survey Results............................29 All Comments............................................44 1 Introduction Mayor Biskupski and the Salt Lake City Council sought feedback to better understand public perceptions of City service needs and potential funding mechanisms ahead of a Council vote on April 17, 2018. The City engaged in an extensive public outreach and engagement effort to collect feedback from residents, businesses and others with a stake in the future of Salt Lake City. The following report summarizes those outreach efforts and results. Vision The City’s goal is to remain a place where all people can live, work, and play in comfort and safety. By creating more affordable housing options and connecting residents and businesses to better transit and complete streets, Salt Lake City can improve air quality and create a more resilient City for generations to come. The Need Salt Lake City’s population is growing and is expected to keep growing. The economy is strong, and the amount of people who commute into the City each day to work, learn, be entertained and seek out services, like medical care, is increasing. Salt Lake City is also the hub for northern Utah’s tourism and convention services, which increase the strain on infrastructure and services. The City’s bright future could be dimmed without investing in critical public services and as such must identify appropriate funding mechanism to address current and future growth. The Opportunity Through years of thoughtful study, planning and public involvement, City Administration and Council staff have identified unfunded one-time and ongoing needs in the areas of street maintenance, affordable housing, transit and public safety.

  • 2021 Breeze Show Choir Catalog
Previously Arranged Titles (updated 2/24/21) Specific details about each arrangement (including audio samples and cost) are available at https://breezetunes.com . The use of any of these arrangements requires a valid custom arrangement license purchased from https://tresonamusic.com . Their licensing fees typically range from $180 to $280 per song and must be paid before you can receive your music. Copyright approval frequently takes 4-6 weeks, sometimes longer, so plan accordingly. If changes to the arrangement are desired, there is an additional fee of $100. Examples of this include re-voicing (such as from SATB to another voice part), rewriting band parts, making cuts, adding an additional verse, etc. **Arrangements may be transposed into a different key free of charge, provided that the change does not make re-voicing necessary** For songs that do not have vocal rehearsal tracks, these can be created for $150/song. To place an order, send an e-mail to [email protected] or submit a license request on Tresona listing Garrett Breeze as the arranger, Tips for success using Previously Arranged Titles: • Most arrangements can be made to work in any voicing, so don’t be afraid to look at titles written for other combinations of voices than what you have. Most SATB songs, for example, can be easily reworked for SAT. • Remember that show function is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing an arrangement. For example, if something is labelled in the catalog as a Song 2/4, it is probably not going to work as a closer.

Hey Phoebe, You once said you wanted to read the stuff I write in the future. I think this is one of them. Or at least this is the sharing of my knowledge. I can only hope this helps you understand Istanbul a bit better. Welcome to Istanbul and happy birthday! All the sites and important things in this guide are capitalized. I have italicized the fun and interesting stuff. The guide is in separated into walks, because finding an exact address in Istanbul is really hard. You can only rely on other people giving you directions "go go go, take a left, take a second right etc.", so maybe this will be an authentic experience. The recommendations seem a lot but the walks will not take that long. If you are flying with Turkish Airlines that's great because they have good service. They are a private company, but they are also aligned with the government as a public image- they once sacrificed camels in front of a plane for a religious holiday and took a photo of it. For PR? Probably. But they have free alcohol! With entertainment! Like movies, which are edited in time and aspect ratio and content, and unedited music! They even have Wi-Fi on certain flights, so you can do whatever you want! I was thinking that you would read this tour guide in between your unintentional naps. They come in unexpected times, and it is very easy to give in. Anyhow. Apart from the ceremonial applauding of the pilot that only Turks and Italians share, the music they put on when you land used to be this welcoming music from this band İncesaz (check the playlist, I couldn't find the actual song so I opted out for a typical one.
