1319- Bachelor of and Bachelor of Course Structure (commencing 2015) CRICOS Code 021276J Course Requirements  Students need to complete 32 units (192 points) in order to obtain their degree. The course structure has the following main components:  a set of core units which provide an introduction to the key areas of commerce  BCommerce - a major of 8 units from the approved list of majors (minimum of 2 units at level 2 and 2 units at level 3)  BEconomics - a major of 8 units in Actuarial Studies or Economics or Econometrics and business or Financial and mathematics (minimum of 2 units at level 2 and 2 units at level 3)  A maximum of 13 first year level units (78 points)  A minimum of eight third year level units (48 points), of which at least five (30 points) must be from those offered by the faculty at the Clayton campus  24 units from the Faculty of Business and Economics in the Bachelor of Commerce at Clayton campus.  Eight open electives may be taken from any Faculty of Business and Economics programs and campuses, or from disciplines offered by another faculty. These open electives can, in some cases, form a third major

In addition to specific unit prerequisites, second-year units require the successful completion of three first-year level units and third-year level units require the successful completion of two second-year level units.
