Song of Praise Victory in Jesus #370 UMH, v 1&3 Opening Prayer Liturgist—Jane Davis Loving God, we thank you for calling us to worship you and learn more about you. You know our needs and our innermost thoughts. Satisfy them with your unchanging love. May we find comfort in knowing that you are with us and by your grace we can have the courage to face every challenge. We pray to you in the name of Jesus. Amen. Children’s Moment Rev. Maria Campbell Centering Song More Like You #2167 TFWS Scripture Psalm 24 Liturgist—Jane Davis The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it; for he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers. Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? Those who have clean hands and pure hearts, who do not lift up their souls to what is false, and do not swear deceitfully. They will receive blessing from the Lord, and vindication from the God of their salvation. Such is the company of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah

Prayer & Lord’s Prayer Rev. Maria Campbell

Anthem Living Hope (Johnson, Wickham) Russ & Melissa Barker Scripture Ephesians 1:3-14 Rev. Maria Campbell

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and insight he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ, as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. In Christ we have also obtained an inheritance, having been destined according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to his counsel and will, so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, might live for the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and had believed in him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit; this is the pledge of our inheritance toward redemption as God’s own people, to the praise of his glory.

Victory in Jesus #370 UMH, v 1&3 Verse 1—I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory, how he gave his life on Calvary to save a wretch like me; I heard about his groaning, of his precious blood’s atoning, then I repented of my sins and won the victory. Refrain—O victory in Jesus, my Savior forever! He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood; he loved me ere I knew him, and all my love is due him; he plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood. Verse 3—I heard about a mansion he has built for me in glory, and I heard about the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea; about the angels singing and the old redemption story, and some sweet day I’ll sing up there the song of victory. Refrain

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

More Like You #2167 TFWS Refrain—More like you, Jesus, more like you. Fill my heart with your desire to make me more like you. More like you, Jesus, more like you. Touch my lips with holy fire and make me more like you. Lord, you are my mercy. Lord, you are my grace. All my deepest sins have forever been erased. Draw me in your presence. Lead me in your ways. I long to bring you glory in righteousness and praise. Refrain

Doxology #94 UMH Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise God, all creatures here below: Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise God, the source of all our gifts! Praise Jesus Christ, whose power uplifts! Praise the Spirit, Holy Spirit! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! This Is Amazing Grace

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness, whose love is mighty and so much stronger? The King of Glory the King above all kings. Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder, and leaves us breathless in awe and wonder? The King of Glory, the King above all kings. Chorus—This is amazing grace, this is unfailing love, that You would take my place, that You would bear my cross. You laid down Your life, that I would be set free, Oh Jesus I sing for, all that You've done for me. Who brings our chaos back into order, who makes the orphan a son and daughter? The King of Glory, the King of Glory. Who rules the nations with truth and justice, shines like the sun in all of its brilliance? The King of Glory, the King above all kings.

Chorus Bridge (3X)—Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, worthy is the King who conquer ed the grave! Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, worthy worthy worthy! Chorus

Have a Blessed Week!
