Call To Worship Leader: We are bombarded by bad news day in and day out, People: And our hearts hunger to hear the sound of the Good News. Leader: Speak to us, Spirit of God, through the songs, the sermon, and even in the silence. People: Tune our hearts to listen for your voice in the midst of the noise of the world. Unloose our tongues to proclaim to the world the beauty of your unchanging love. Amen.

Anthem

9 am 11 am The United Voices of Abyssinian “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” arr. Mack Wilberg Come thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above; Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it, Mount of Thy redeeming love.

Here I raise mine Ebenezer, hither by Thy help I'm come; And I hope by Thy good pleasure safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God; He, to rescue me from danger, interposed His precious blood.

O to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be! Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to Thee. Prone to wander, Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love. Here's my heart, O take and seal it; seal it for Thy courts above. Lyrics by Robert Robinson Pastoral Emphasis

Scripture

Meditation 9 am 11 am The United Voices of Abyssinian “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say” Edwin Hawkins arr. Davis Trio: Charlotte Small, Larry Hylton, Justin Austin

I heard the voice of Jesus say, "Come unto Me and rest; Lay down, thou weary one, lay down; Thy head upon My breast." I came to Jesus as I was, weary and worn and sad; I found in Him a resting-place, and He has made me glad.

Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, For my yoke is easy and my burdens are light.

I heard the voice of Jesus say, "Behold, I freely give the living water; Thirsty one, stoop down and drink and live." I came to Jesus, and I drank of that life-giving stream. My thirst was quenched, my soul revived, and now I live in Him.

I heard the voice of Jesus say, "I am this dark world's Light; Look unto Me; thy morn shall rise, and all thy day be bright." I looked to Jesus, and I found in Him my Star, my Sun; And in that Light of Life I'll walk 'till traveling days are done. Lyrics by Horatius Bonar
