Every car manufacturer in Indonesia are launching their newest model or some additional updates on their current model annually, this situation is a linear condition due to the high demand of new car, the competition of every car manufacturer has been very tight making every competitor must give their best effort on competing on each segment. The numbers of sales on private vehicle especially cars are increasing massively linear to the demand on Indonesian market on purchasing new car. The increasing economic background and the change of social economy supports this factor. BAB IV HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN 4.1. Profil PT. Astra Daihatsu International Cabang Tegal PT. Astra Daihatsu International cabang Tegal yang juga disebut Daihatsu Sales Operation cabang Tegal atau disingkat DSO Tegal berdiri sejak tahun 1996 yang berlokasi di jalan Kolonel Soegiono No. 104 Tegal. Kantor pusat (Head Office) PT. Astra Daihatsu International sendiri beralamat di jalan Yos Sudarso kav 24 Jakarta. DSO Tegal memiliki 3 cabang Daihatsu Sales Point pembantu atau DSP yaitu DSP Brebes, DSP Slawi, DSP Pemalang. Daihatsu Sales Point adalah sejenis outlet yang menyediakan display mobil Daihatsu untuk mempermudah jangkauan konsumen yang berada di sekitar daerah tersebut mengenai informasi produk mobil Daihatsu. DSO Tegal dikepalai oleh Bapak Yohannes Sujatmiko selaku kepala cabang Daihatsu Tegal. DSO Tegal merupakan kantor cabang kelas B karena masih bergerak dalam bidang Vehicle, Service, dan Sparepart. BAB I PENDAHULUAN A. Latar Belakang Penelitian Era globalisasi saat ini kebutuhan manusia semakin hari semakin meningkat, mulai dari kebutuhan primer (pangan, sandang, papan), maupun kebutuhan sekunder (kendaraan sekolah, dan lain-lain). Dan semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan manusia akan kebutuhan sekunder saat ini seperti kebutuhan akan kendaraan yang nyaman, aman, dan terjangkau, membuat permintaan akan kendaraan tersebut meningkat dan membuat industri otomotif berlomba-lomba membuat produk yang dapat dijangkau oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satunya adalah kendaraan roda empat, kendaraan ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat karena memudahkan mereka dalam beraktifitas sehari-sehari. Zaman sekarang kehadiran mobil murah / low cost green car (LCGC) di Indonesia memenuhi, sekaligus menjawab kebutuhan akan transportasi murah yang di butuhkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Kehadiran mobil murah LCGC di Indonesia ini sangat pas dengan pasar otomotif di Indonesia yang kebanyakan tingkat konsumsi konsumen nya masih didominasi oleh masyarakat kelas menengah ke bawah yang memiliki mobilitas yang tinggi. 1 2 Mobil LCGC diberi keringanan pajak oleh pemerintah berupa penghapusan pajak pertambahan nilai barang mewah (PPnBM). Syarat yang harus dipenuhi mobil LCGC itu sendiri yaitu mobil harus memiliki kapasitas mesin 900-1200 cc dan mobil harus memenuhi konsumsi bahan bakar 20km/liter dan kandungan lokal mobil yang harus dipenuhi pabrikan untuk produksi mobil LCGC yakni memiliki 85 persen kandungan lokal. Industri mobil di Indonesia pun berlomba-lomba menciptakan mobil LCGC untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar Indonesia. Beberapa merek mobil yang ada di Indonesia yang memproduksi mobil LCGC di antaranya adalah, Honda, Toyota, Daihatsu, Suzuki, dan Datsun. Para brand mobil tersebut masing-masing memproduksi mobil LCGC nya sendiri, seperti di bawah ini : Tabel 1. -
