The materials are designed to help these students succeed in regular education content courses and include simplified text and smaller units of study. The curriculum correlates to Florida's Sunshine State Standards and is divided into the following 9 units of study:(1) budgeting your income;(2) banking and checking;(3) buying and selling;(4) borrowing and lending; (5) purchasing a car and car insurance;(6) paying your taxes;(7) choosing a place to live, deciding whether to rent or buy, playing real estate taxes, and home insurance;(8) investing your money and stocks and bonds; and (9) planning for retirement. For each unit, the teachers' guide includes a general description of the unit's content and the unit's focus, provides suggestions for instructional activities, and contains an assessment to measure student performance. Appendices in the teacher's guide contain a chart describing standards and benchmarks. Each PASS offers teachers supplementary activities and strategies to assist certain exceptional students and low-achieving students in the attainment of the intended outcomes of a specific course. The alternative methods and activities found in the PASS materials have been adapted to meet the needs of students who have mild disabilities and are mainstreamedin content classes. The PASS materials provide basic education teachers with a modified approach for presenting the course content that may be useful with these students and other students who have learning or behavior problems. The PASS materials also provide the exceptional education teacher who is teaching subject area courses with curriculum materials designed for these exceptional education students. Students with learning or behavior problems often requiit alternative methods of presentation and evaluation of important content. The content in PASS differs from the standard textbooks and workbooks in several ways: simplified text; smaller units of study; reduced vocabulary level; increased frequency of drill and practice; shorter reading assignments; clearer and more concise directions; less cluttered format; and the presentation of skills in small, sequential steps.     MISCELLANEOUS Phoenix Municipal Stadium, the A’s Spring Training home OAKLAND-ALAMEDA COUNTY COLISEUM FRONT OFFICE 2009 ATHLETICS REVIEW The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum plays host to concerts, conventions and other large gatherings in addi- tion to serving as the home for the Oakland Athletics and Oakland Raiders. The A’s have used the facility to its advantage over the years, posting the second best home record (492-318, .607) in the Major Leagues over the last 10 seasons. In 2003, the A’s set an Oakland record for home wins as they finished with a 57-24 (.704) record in the Coliseum, marking the most home wins in franchise history since 1931 RECORDS when the Philadelphia Athletics went 60-15 at home. In addition, two of the A’s World Championships have been clinched on the Coliseum’s turf. The Coliseum’s exceptional sight lines, fine weather and sizable staging areas have all contributed to its popularity among performers, promoters and the Bay Area public. The facility is conveniently located adjacent to I-880 with two exits (Hegenberger Road/66th Avenue) leading directly to the complex. Along with the Oracle Arena, which is located adjacently, it is the only major entertainment facility with a dedicated stop on the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system. The Oakland International Airport is less than a two-mile drive from the Coliseum with shuttle service to several local hotels and restaurants. In October of 1995, the Coliseum HISTORY began a one-year, $120 renovation proj- ect that added 22,000 new seats, 90 luxury suites, two private clubs and two OAKLAND-ALAMEDA COUNTY COLISEUM state-of-the-art scoreboards.

The Enforcement Bureau (Bureau) of the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) has entered into a Consent Decree to resolve its investigation into whether Radio License Holding CBC, LLC (Radio License), and Radio License’s parent, Cumulus Radio Corporation (CRC), broadcast announcements on radio station WOKQ(FM), Dover, New Hampshire (Station), without adequate sponsorship disclosure in violation of the Commission’s sponsorship identification laws. 2. The Commission’s sponsorship identification laws protect consumers and promote fair competition by requiring that the sponsors of paid programming material be clearly identified. Those laws are based on the principle that listeners and viewers are entitled to know who seeks to persuade them. The disclosures required by those laws provide listeners and viewers with information concerning the source of material in order to prevent misleading or deceiving those listeners and viewers. Enforcement of the sponsorship identification laws also protects fair competition among advertisers. We seek to prevent sponsors from gaining unfair advantage by paying stations to present promotional messages without appropriate disclosures, while their competitors observe the rules and present their content as properly acknowledged commercial advertisements. 3. The Bureau investigated a complaint that the Station broadcast announcements supporting a hydro-electronic energy project in New Hampshire without disclosing the identity of the company that sponsored the announcements.
