Pokemon Emerald Post-Game Completionist Checklist List of Post-Game Objectives to complete in Pokemon Emerald for the GameBoy Advance. There is not a "bonus" for completing all of these objectives beyond the Diploma for completing the Pokedex. This list is designed to help the player experience the most possible out of the games.

Pokedex Entries - Minimum Requirements are Emerald Version, LeafGreen Version, Colosseum, and XD: Gale of Darkness OR all five Generation III GBA Games (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen Versions)

Receive the National Pokedex from Professor Birch in Littleroot Town after entering the Hall of Fame for the first time

See all 200 Pokemon in the Hoenn Pokedex (not including Jirachi and Deoxys)

Capture all In-Game Legendary Pokemon

Latias - Wandering Hoenn after defeating the Elite Four after watching the TV downstairs with your mom and selecting "Red" (choice between Latias and Latios)

Latios - Wandering Hoenn after defeating the Elite Four after watching the TV downstairs with your mom and selecting "Blue" (choice between Latios and Latias)

Kyogre - Static Encounter in the Marine Cave after defeating the Elite Four. This location changes. If a scientist in the Weather Institute says there is "Heavy Rain," head to that route, dive in a small dark spot, and follow the path to Kyogre.

Groudon - Static Encounter in the Terra Cave after defeating the Elite Four. This location changes. If a scientist in the Weather Institute says there is "Drought," head to that route, enter the new cave, and follow the path to Groudon.

Rayquaza - Static Encounter on the Sky Pillar. Must initially encounter it during the main quest and have it fly away to confront Groudon and Kyogre. After seeing the cut-scene involving Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza in Sootopolis City, it is possible to return to the Sky Pillar and catch Rayquaza immediately.

Receive the Diploma from the developer on the top floor of the Cove Lily Motel in Lilycove City after completing the Hoenn Pokedex

Receive one of the Johto Starters from Professor Birch in Littleroot Town after completing the Hoenn Pokedex: Chickorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile

Register all 380 Pokemon as caught in the National Pokedex (excludes , Ho-Oh, , , Jirachi, and Deoxys)

Capture Ditto - Enter the Fossil Maniac house in Fallarbor town and encounter it in the Desert Underpass. Provides convenience for breeding Pokemon.

Capture Sudowoodo - East in the Battle Frontier, water the strange tree with the Wailmer Pail (only available in Emerald)

Capture Smeargle - Go down the waterfall past the Sudowoodo then surf to the west and enter the Artisan's Cave (only available in Emerald)

Receive the Diploma from the Game Freak developer on the top floor of the Cove Lily Motel in Lilycove City after completing the National Pokedex

Bonus: Obtain Event and otherwise "unobtainable" Pokemon

Bonus: Obtain Mew - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. May use a cheating device to complete the Faraway Island event or may be added by a cheating device directly.

Bonus: Obtain Ho-Oh - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. Transfer from Pokemon Colosseum on the GameCube after completing the Mt. Battle challenge. May also use a cheating device to complete the Naval Rock event or may be added by a cheating device directly.

Bonus: Obtain Lugia - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. Transfer from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness on the GameCube after purified, related to the main events in the game. May also use a cheating device to complete the Naval Rock event or may be added by a cheating device directly.

Bonus: Obtain Celebi - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. Was only distributed during 3rd Generation on the Japanese-only Bonus Disc for Pokemon Colosseum. Only feasible to obtain by using a cheating device in US and PAL Regions.

Bonus: Obtain Jirachi - Event Pokemon not obtainable through standard gameplay. May be obtained using a cheating device or from the Pokemon Colosseum Pre-Order Bonus Disc for GameCube (US Only) or Pokemon Channel for GameCube (PAL Region Only)

Bonus: Obtain Deoxys - Event Pokemon not obtainable through standard gameplay. May be be obtained using a cheating device to complete the Birth Island event or may be added to a cheating device directly. Battle Frontier and Other Battles

Silver Knowledge Symbol - Complete a 20-match streak in the Battle Factory then defeat Factory Head Noland for the first time

Gold Knowledge Symbol - Complete a 41-match streak in the Battle Factory then defeat Factory Head Noland for the second time

Silver Guts Symbol - Achieve 27 consecutive wins in the Battle Arena then defeat Arena Tycoon Greta for the first time

Gold Guts Symbol - Achieve 55 consecutive wins in the Battle Arena then defeat Arena Tycoon Greta for the second time

Silver Tactics Symbol - Achieve 4 consecutive tournament wins in the Battle Dome then defeat Dome Ace Tucker in the 5th tournament's final

Gold Tactics Symbol - Achieve 9 consecutive tournaments wins in the Battle Dome then defeat Dome Ace Tucker in the 10th tournament's final

Silver Luck Symbol - Complete 2 consecutive passes through the Battle Pike (28 consecutive rooms) then defeat Pike Queen Lucy for the first time

Gold Luck Symbol - Complete 10 consecutive passes through the Battle Pike (140 consecutive rooms) then defeat Pike Queen Lucy for the second time

Silver Spirits Symbol - Complete a 20-match streak in single battles in the Battle Palace then defeat Palace Maven Spenser for the first time

Gold Spirits Symbol - Complete a 41-match streak in single battles in the Battle Palace then defeat Palace Maven Spenser for the second time

Silver Brave Symbol - Defeat 21 consecutive levels of the Battle Pyramid then defeat Pyramid King Brandon for the first time

Gold Brave Symbol - Defeat 70 consecutive levels of the Battle Pyramid then defeat Pyramid King Brandon for the second time

Silver Ability Symbol - Complete a 34-match streak in single battles in the Battle Tower then defeat Salon Maiden Anabel for the first time

Gold Ability Symbol - Complete a 69-match streak in single battles in the Battle Tower then defeat Salon Maiden Anabel for the second time

Silver Shield (Secret Base Item) - Achieve a 50-match streak in single battles in the Battle Tower, then speak to Scott

Gold Shield (Secret Base Item) - Achieve a 100-match streak in single battles in the Battle Tower, then speak to Scott

Winning Ribbon - Awarded to all participating Pokemon after 56 straight wins in level 50 mode in the Battle Tower

Victory Ribbon - Awarded to all participating Pokemon after 56 straight wins in the Open Level challenge in the Battle Tower Lansat Berry - Obtained from Scott after receiving all 7 silver Frontier Symbols

Starf Berry - Obtained from Scott after receiving all 7 gold Frontier Symbols

Bonus: Access Mirage Island - Overwhelmingly rare to access this island where access is granted based on invisible values related to a Pokemon's personality. An individual Pokemon has a 1/65536 chance of causing the island to appear each day. If the game cartridge's internal battery is dead, the invisible numbers causing Mirage Island to spawn will never change.
