A Currency Strength EA Designed and Coded by Do Duc Linh, Ph.D (LEO) FAQ CSM EA V5.2.1 A Currency Strength EA Designed and coded by Do Duc Linh, Ph.D (LEO) Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 1 www.forexautotradingtools.com What is the CSM EA (Expert Advisor)? ■ The CSM EA is a trend following MT4 Expert Advisor that uses a pure price action strategy using currency strength indicator. ■ The CSM EA takes into account the relative strength of the currencies and makes trades where it finds currency pairs that have strong and weak currencies. ■ This EA does not use any risky strategies such as Martingale, Hedging, Grid, Averaging, Arbitrage, etc. It takes only one trade per chart at a time. It also avoids related currency pairs when there is a trade. Every trade is opened with proper stop loss and take profit. ■ The CSM EA uses the currency strength meter to find the strongest trend, then looks for pullbacks to enter the market. ■ This is a fully automatic trading EA. All you need to do is to set it up and forget. ■ No worries about red news, because the EA can avoid high impact news time using a news filter. ■ With the CSM EA you no longer have to worry if you are doing the right things or not and you no longer have to read the news and financial statements. Instead, the CSM EA will do all these for you consistently because it has been told to do so. ■ All you have to do is to let the system work while following the defined rules of CSM strategy and you sit back and watch the trades play out. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 2 www.forexautotradingtools.com What is a Currency Strength Meter? ■ So what is a currency strength meter, or a currency strength indicator? ■ Simply, a currency strength meter is a visual guide that demonstrates which currencies are currently strong, and which ones are weak. ■ Currency strength indicators use the exchange rates of different currency pairs to produce an aggregate, comparable strength of each currency. ■ CS indicators help us to identify the strength of the trend and answer the basic question, Is the market trending, or is it in a range? Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 3 www.forexautotradingtools.com What is the CSM strategy? The CSM strategy included inside the CSM EA is a pure price action strategy that can be described as below: ■ First, we use the Currency strength indicator that is build-in the CSM EA to find trending forex pairs. ■ Then, we look for pullbacks/retracements to open trade following the trend. ■ Stop-loss is calculated based on the ATR value of that forex pair. The take-profit target is set to at least 1R. ■ We do not open new trade on that pair if the running trade is not closed yet. Hence, this CSM strategy totally fulfills the FIFO rule. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 4 www.forexautotradingtools.com Can I move my license to a different MT4 account ID? ■ The license is for lifetime and you can activate it on different account numbers. ■ Since your MT4 license is locked to your MT4 account ID the YWY EA will work only on the MT4 account number and name you have submitted during license registration. If you want to move your license to a different MT4 account ID please let me know. I will do this for you. Your previous account ID will be compromised then. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 5 www.forexautotradingtools.com What about Forex economic news impacts? ■ The CSM EA has a live data feed of all important Forex news. These data are synchronized with the EA meaning the EA knows and can determine what to do and if to trade or not. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 6 www.forexautotradingtools.com How many pairs the EA is running and what time frames? The CSM EA must be run on these 28 forex pairs on H1 timeframe to get best results: ■ EURUSD; EURJPY; EURGBP; EURCHF; EURAUD; EURCAD; EURNZD; ■ USDJPY; USDCHF; USDCAD; ■ GBPJPY; GBPUSD; GBPCHF; GBPNZD; GBPCAD; GBPAUD; ■ NZDCAD; NZDJPY; NZDCHF; NZDUSD; ■ CADCHF; CADJPY; CHFJPY; ■ AUDCHF; AUDCAD; AUDNZD; AUDUSD; AUDJPY; Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 7 www.forexautotradingtools.com The EA trades with TP and SL? ■ Of course! The EA uses TP and SL. SL is calculated using the ATR value on each pair. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 8 www.forexautotradingtools.com Can I run the CSM EA with other trading systems on the same MT4? ■ Counter-question! Do you put gasoline and diesel in the same car? The CSM EA is a very need the MT4 station for himself. ■ When you run the EA, you CAN trade manual with the same MT4, but no install another EAs. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 9 www.forexautotradingtools.com What happens when I add additional money to my account? ■ Nothing, if you select automatic position sizing based on account balance risk percent, it would increase the calculated lot size. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 10 www.forexautotradingtools.com Should I run the CSM EA on a VPS? ■ Yes you should, It makes so much sense to have the EA running on a VPS. You get a high performance infrastructure with stable internet connection. ■ You do not know what VPS services provider suits this EA? Check my VPS service, that is cheapest on the market and collocated in the U.S. Select your plan from $5 per month here: https://forexautotradingtools.com/product-category/vps-services/ Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 11 www.forexautotradingtools.com For how long will the trades be open? ■ The CSM EA trades on H1 time frame using a day trading strategy, so trades can be open from a few hours up to one day or two. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 12 www.forexautotradingtools.com Can I attach indicators on the CSM EA chart? ■ It is not recommended, but you can attach any indicators on the chart with running CSM EA for visual purpose. ■ The CSM EA calls and reads data from CSM indicators itself without loading them on the chart. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 13 www.forexautotradingtools.com How to stop the CSM EA? ■ If you want to prevent the EA from opening new trades, then you need to turn off the MT4 auto-trade function. If there are still open trades on your account, you will take care of them manually until all are finished. ■ Since you have turned off the auto-trade function, no new orders will be taken. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 14 www.forexautotradingtools.com Can I close trades manual? ■ Definitely Yes! If you see good positive floating on your account which the CSM EA is running on, you can close all trades to lock your profit. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 15 www.forexautotradingtools.com What is the required account size and the recommended lot size? ■ You can trade with CSM EA on 28 pairs with $100 balance. ■ But to get best effects and results, I recommend minimum account balance of $300 for 28 pairs. ■ The recommended lot size is 0.01 per each $300. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 16 www.forexautotradingtools.com What is the drawdown produced by the EA? ■ It depends on what is your capital and how many pairs do you run the EA on. On average 15-20% maximum. ■ From my experiences, on a $500 account, the DD is lower than 10% on average. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 17 www.forexautotradingtools.com What is the monthly gain with the CSM EA? ■ The CSM EA is a very potential EA for the long-term. On average return of 5- 15% per month is a very possible target. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 18 www.forexautotradingtools.com How many trades are open at the same time? ■ Only one trade per pair at one time. ■ If we run the CSM EA on 28 pairs, 3-10 trades can be open at the same time. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 19 www.forexautotradingtools.com Is it possible to run the EA on specific hours in the day or specific days in the week? ■ Yes. The CSM EA come with hours filter and weekday filter. ■ The hours filter works on GMT time. ■ These filters allow EA to open new trades in specific times only, but running trades are still controlled by the EA. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 20 www.forexautotradingtools.com How to set up the YWY EA ■ EA comes with detail manual on how to set it up. Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 21 www.forexautotradingtools.com Feedback from costumers and trading results Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 22 www.forexautotradingtools.com Feedback from costumers and trading results Telegram: t.me/CSMEA 23 www.forexautotradingtools.com Feedback from costumers and trading results ■ Detail report of the $1000 account after 2 weeks running the EA. ■ Up 8.7% with drawdown only 1.5%. ■ Winning rate is 58% only but it is good enough thanks to high risk-reward ratio. 22 August 2019 Macro Picture DOLLAR GLARE Dario Perkins The world needs a weaker dollar but direct FX intervention is not the answer. History suggests currency intervention only works when accompanied by shifts in relative monetary policies and coordination across nations. The conditions for coordination do not exist today and unilateral US attempts to force the dollar down could get messy. This is a problem for the global economy. The strong dollar undermines world trade, damages the balance sheets of international USD debtors, restricts cross-border lending and spreads ‘secular stagnation’ around the globe. SOUND FX Since a weaker US dollar might be good for the global economy, there is speculation the authorities might eventually intervene. Some commentators even hope for a repeat of the successful currency ‘accords’ of the1980s. Yet there are good reasons why DM policymakers have avoided FX intervention over the past 20 years (except during times of financial instability). COORDINATION FAILURE Intervention will only work if it is coordinated across nations and includes large (relative) shifts in monetary and fiscal policy.

Inquiry in Developing Trading Systems in FOREX Trading An Interactive Qualifying Project Submitted to the Faculty of Worcester Polytechnic Institute In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Science Authored By: Akaki Tsivadze October 25, 2016 to October 26, 2017 Report submitted to esteemed faculty members Acknowledgements Our Interactive Qualifying Project team would like to thank all the key people for their contributions to the project. Special thanks to Professor Frederick L. Huston for carving time out of his retirement to help us give finishing touches to the organization, grammar and structure of our paper. Thank you also to our advisors, Professors Michael J. Radzicki and Hakim Hossein, for providing us with a strong foundational knowledge to effectively meet the challenges to complete this project. 1 Abstract Maximizing profitability and minimizing risk in financial assets portfolios has been commonly solved with Mean-Variance Analysis (MVA). Trading systems, unlike investments, cannot be organized into portfolios through MVA due to discontinuous returns. Through a novel method to discretize trade system data into time series, MVA was then applied to custom forex trading systems and the optimized portfolio reduced risk by approximately 10% in comparison to several baseline portfolio configurations. The method provides a crude but general solution to optimizing trading system portfolios. 2 Contents Chapter 1: Background ................................................................................................................................
