These committed individuals help us with course maintenance, planning and programming with many tournaments and activities occurring throughout the year.”

"Like a lot of folks in Connecticut, I learned how to play disc golf at Page Park, and if it weren't for that course being so wonderfully designed and maintained, and the incredible community that has coalesced around the course, I am not sure disc golf would be such a big part of my life today,” said Mahmoud Bahrani, media manager for the Disc Golf Pro Tour.

“The City’s investment in the parks over the last few years is definitely paying dividends today,” said Mayor Ellen Zoppo-Sassu, who chairs the Park Commission. “In this Covid environment, I love driving through both Page and Rockwell and seeing all the activity. Having people able to get outside with all the current social distancing restrictions is a huge benefit to our residents.” For more information about Bristol’s two disc golf courses, visit the Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services website at: https://www.bristolrec.com/info/facilities/default.aspx For disc golf league information, visit the individual park league pages on Facebook: Disc Golf Leagues at Page Park: https://www.facebook.com/groups/pagepark Disc Golf Leagues at Rockwell Park: https://www.facebook.com/groups/241615196182272
