Monthly passenger numbers increased 4% in December, which was in response to airlines increasing seat capacity by 4%.

Brisbane-Mackay passengers increased 7% to 61,000. Fewer flights were operated, but larger aircraft on the flown flights delivered an 11% seat increase on the -Mackay sector.

Annual arriving and departing passengers are now 4% above the May 2017 level.
