Some students will be legislators while others will be justices. Youth Legislators will present bills they have been working on which have the potential to change state law. During this annual event, students learn firsthand how a bill is prepared, presented, debated and passed. They will occupy seats usually assigned to State Senators and Representatives. Youth Supreme Court Justices will present arguments on their previously submitted legal Mass Schedule : briefs to the Supreme Court. They will also make judgment on other student briefs.
