Please know that I will be offering mass privately every day, for you, for all of our scheduled mass intentions, and for an end to this pandemic. As most of us will be temporarily unable to receive the Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist, here is an act of Spiritual Communion, attributed to St. Thomas Aquinas. If you’re watching Mass of the Air, or even praying when you would normally be coming to mass, this prayer is powerful: “My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.” Below are times for Mass of the Air on Sundays: • 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the Faith Channel, Inc. (Spectrum channel 19), Louisville, KY. This Mass also is streamed live on the Faith Channel at www.faithtvlive.com • 10:30 a.m. on WHAS-TV (channel 11), Louisville, KY and whas11.com under the “Live Video” tab. • 9 a.m. on WBKI-TV (Spectrum Channel 7). • 10 a.m. on WNKY-TV (channel 40), Bowling Green, KY. • And mass is always available every day on EWTN. Also, I’m afraid we’ve had to cancel our Fish Fry, and all other public events as well. We will keep you posted with any further developments each day at maryqueenofpeace.net. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Mary Queen of peace, may God have mercy on all who have died, grant peace and comfort to all who are suffering, and wisdom to governments, the science community, and all those who are working to eradicate this scourge. Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us! Peace and blessings to you all. Fr.
