THE HISTORY WITH PRESBYTERIAN THIS WEEK AROUND THE SOCON The Citadel and Presbyterian have met six times on the soccer pitch with the Blue Hose boasting a 5-1 record over the Bulldogs. The lone Citadel win in the DATE MATCHUP TIME series came in 2017 when the ‘Dogs defeated PC 3-2 in Charleston. PC enters the weekend 2-1 against The Citadel in games played in Charleston. Last Sept. 13 Georgia State at Mercer 7 p.m. season, the Blue Hose defeated The Citadel 4-2 in Clinton. Wofford at USC Upstate 7 p.m. SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE VMI at Loyola (Md.) 7 p.m. Presbyterian enters the weekend still searching for the first win of 2019, Radford at ETSU 7 p.m. sitting at 0-5, including three losses on the road. The Blue Hose have scored Alabama State at Samford 8 p.m. three goals this season, with all three having been scored by a different player, including Peyton Patterson, Preston Robinette and Emily Laboon. Kori Lawrence and Morgan Hutchison are the leading returners for goals scored last Sept. 15 Presbyterian at The Citadel 1 p.m. season with four each a season ago. Lawrence also added three assists for 11 total points. Robinette chipped in 13 points last season with three goals scored VMI at Howard 1 p.m. and a team-best seven assists.
