6th Annual CHEVRON SHOOT-OUT Giants vs.

RESULTS

Monterey, California (February 9, 2016) – The following is the breakdown of the $100,000 Chevron Shoot-Out, featuring the vs. the San Francisco 49ers, on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

The Giants Community Fund won the team event with a total of $60,000, taking three of the five holes. The Giants were represented by non-playing captain Duane Kuiper and the competing twosome teams of Matt Cain and George Kontos, and Bruce Bochy and Randy Winn.

The 49ers Foundation won $40,000, for taking two holes. The 49ers were represented by the competing twosome teams of captain and Steve Bono, and and Dwight Clark.

The format was alternate-shot twosome match play on the traditional five-hole “Whiskey Route” at Pebble Beach. Each hole was worth $10,000 for the 49ers/Giants and $10,000 for each twosome’s designated local charity ($20,000 total per hole). The local charities were: Girls Inc. of the Central Coast (Barton-Bobo); CHISPA (Cain-Kontos); Greenfield Community Science Workshop (Bochy-Winn); Monterey Peninsula College Foundation (Young-Clark).
