TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT FULL ROAD CLOSURE OF JALAN TUN SAMBANTHAN 13 APRIL 2017
Date 14 April 2017 – 17 April 2017 Time 24 hours Duration 2 Days 3 Nights Reason To facilitate the launching of link bridge
There will be a 24-hour full road closure along Jalan Tun Sambanthan (Brickfields-bound and Pudu –bound) for the stretch of 800m from 10.00PM 14 April 2017 until 5.00AM 17 April 2017.
1. Rapidkl bus routes in PURPLE will be diverted as follow:
a. Buses from Brickfield heading to LRT Pasar Seni will be diverted up to the ramp, turn right onto Jalan Sultan Sulaiman then left to Bulatan Syed Putra and take the second exit to Jalan Sultan Mohamed.
b. Buses from LRT Pasar Seni heading to Brickfields will have return via Jalan Sultan Mohamed before proceeding to Jalan Syed Putra and exit to Jalan Tun Sambanthan via Jalan Damansara.
2. Motorists will be required to use the following alternatives routes:
a. Motorist from Brickfield heading to Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock will be diverted up to the ramp, turn right onto Jalan Sultan Sulaiman then left to Bulatan Syed Putra before taking the third exit to Jalan Petaling. Motorists will turn left to Jalan Sultan and another right to Jalan Hang Kasturi before reaching Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock (as indicated in GREY).
From Jalan Hang Kasturi, motorist heading to the Post Office (as indicated in BLUE) need to turn left into Jalan Tun Sambathan and cut right to Post Office. Motorist heading to Central Market (indicated in GREEN) need to make a U-turn at Jalan Tun Sambathan.
b. Motorist from Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock in ORANGE will be diverted into Jalan Tun H. S. Lee before merging to Jalan Syed Putra and exit to Jalan Tun Sambanthan via Jalan Damansara.
