    The North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program Administered by the State Education Assistance Authority 2018-19 Annual Report October 15, 2019 The Opportunity Scholarship Program, established by G.S. § 115C-562.1 et seq., provides scholarships for parents to pay tuition and required fees for their children to attend school in an eligible nonpublic setting. The maximum annual scholarship for the 2018-19 school year was $4,200 ($2,100 maximum per semester per student). The data reported is as of June 30, 2019.
